The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee novel Chapter 263

Chapter 263 Gathering Information

“Of course, I would be happy to,” Antone said with deference as he took the cigarette and gestured to Boris to follow him. “It is my pleasure.”

The hotel had every facility imaginable, including a coffee shop.

The coffee shop was on the fifth floor, and as soon as they stepped out of the elevator, they could see a rockery shrouded in

mist.

Passing by the rockery, they saw that the rooms in front of them were all made of wood. A waitress led the way and quickly led

them into a room.

“Mr. Lewis, we have a performance here.” Antone asked thoughtfully, “Would you like someone to play the violin?”

“No need,” Boris declined politely. “I prefer peace and quiet.”

Antone was very good at reading between the lines and quickly waved his hand at the female ser vant who was preparing to make coffee and signed her to leave.

After washing his hands, Antone began making coffee. “What kind of coffee would you like, Mr. Lewis?”

“Kopi Luwak ”

“Oh!” Antone exclaimed in surprise. “Mr. Lewis also likes Kopi Luwak?”

“Is there anyone else who likes it?” Boris asked knowingly.

“Miss Scott also likes it!” Antone’s face was full of kindness at the mention of Ziana.

As if praising his own child, Antone said proudly and dotingly, “Miss Scott likes to drink Kopi Luwak the most, especially the Kopi Luwak made by me because I have my own unique tricks.”

“Miss Scott praised me as the best coffee maker on the island! It’s not easy to get Miss Scott’s praise on this island!”

“Really? It seems that I’m in luck.” Boris was trying to steer the conversation towards Ziana, but to his surprise, Antone brought her up himself.

Boris rested his chin on the one hand, leaned against the table, and put the other hand on his lap, casually asking, “Has Miss Scott ever had your coffee?”

“Of course!” Antone said proudly, “Mr. Lewis, I’m not boasting, but Miss Scott has been drinking my coffee for at least ten

years.”

Boris had figured out Antone’s character by now, so he pretended to scrutinize him with a furrowed brow. “Ten years? I have no idea that you’ve been working for the Scott family for that long, but you look quite young.”

Antone was almost fifty years old this year, but when Boris praised him for his youth, he couldn’t help but smile broadly. “I’ve been working for the Scott family for twenty-two years. I came here as soon as I graduated. At that time, the island hadn’t been developed yet, and even Miss Scott hadn’t been born!”

“I really couldn’t tell.” Boris shook his head. “If you hadn’t told me, I would have thought that you were only in your thirties. You just said that you watched Miss Scott grow up. I really couldn’t believe it.”

“Hahaha.” Antone genuinely liked Ziana, and his expression was very sincere. “I was there when she was born. She was the

first daughter of the Scott family, and everyone was thrilled. They all lined up to see Miss Scott.”

Boris smiled, and the scene seemed to appear in front of him. “Is she shy?”

“No, Miss Scott isn’t shy at all.” Antone said, “She is a fair and tender little girl, really adorable. She will smile at anyone, and

she has a good temper. That’s the first time I’ve seen Miss Scott. When I see her again, she’s already five years old.”

“Oh? Where have you been in those five years?” Boris took the opportunity to ask.

“It’s normal for the Scott Company to mobilize personnel. I majored in garden design. During the years of the booming real estate industry, many of the gardens in the Scott family’s properties were designed by me,” said Antone with a confident tone due to his talent. “When I saw Miss Scott again, she became perfect but busier.”

“Why would a five-year-old girl be busy?” Boris frowned.

A man should pamper his daughter.

However, since his son would be the successor of his career, he must let him rise up at the age of three.
