Chapter 302 Bad Friends
However, he never expected that he and Ziana had such a past.
He had never thought of letting her go completely, and now that he knew everything, it was even less likely that he
would let Ziana be with another man.
Boris thought of Edison.
Princess Catherine had previously mentioned that Edison had saved Ziana, and according to Boris’ memory, that was
indeed the case.
As a result, Scott Company supported Edison, which was also reasonable.
However, he had previously suspected whether Edison saving Ziana was just a coincidence.
If it was a coincidence, then Edison did indeed gain the support of Scott Company and made a name for himself in Western Royalty.
If it wasn’t a coincidence, then someone as wise and intelligent as Luke couldn’t have investigated for five years and found nothing.
Boris pondered for a moment, then made a phone call.
The phone rang for a long time, but no one answered.
He frowned and was about to hang up and redial when he suddenly heard a slightly urgent gasping sound.
Boris glanced at the time and hesitantly asked, “Are you busy? Didn’t you say you were waiting for the little girl to grow up?”
The man on the other end choked and tried to slow down his voice as much as possible. “No. Livia had an accident.”
Livia was raised by Biber himself, so he was very concerned about her situation.
www.
Boris didn’t have any particular thoughts about Livia, but out of concern for his friend, he asked, “What happened?”
“She got hit by a car, but thankfully it’s nothing serious,” Biber said through gritted teeth, “but this isn’t over.”
Biber looked polite and refined, but deep down he was just like Boris.
An eye for an eye, never hesitate to strike, especially when it came to the woman he cared about most.
Since he said that, it’s likely that the driver responsible for the accident will suffer.
Boris didn’t make any comments and asked, “Are you at the hospital now?”
Biber glanced over at Livia, who was bandaging her wounds and said, “What’s the matter? Did you make any progress in recovering your memory?”
Biber had prior knowledge of this from Boris, who mentioned it when he went to find Olivia yesterday.
“Well, I’ve recovered.”
“Recovered?” Biber blurted out, surprised by how quickly Boris had recovered. “You remembered everything?”
“Yeah, I remember everything,” Boris confirmed.
Biber’s mind worked quickly as he remembered Hank’s previous advice. He asked, “Did you find someone for hypnotherapy?” he asked.
“Yes, it was Hank’s professor.”
“Didn’t he warn Hank not to get involved?”
Hearing this, Boris explained the whole story to him..
After listening, Biber fell silent for a moment.
Biber had been a witness to Boris and Ziana’s relationship.
Now that he knew about their past entanglement, he couldn’t help but feel emotional.
After a long pause, he spoke softly, “Fate likes to play tricks on people.”
Boris remained silent.
Biber expressed his sympathy. “If you had recovered your memory earlier, you and Ziana wouldn’t have suffered so much for the past three years.”
“Let’s not talk about that,” Boris could only console himself, “I called you because there’s something I want you to do.”
Biber could sense the seriousness in his words, “What is it?”
“Go back to the Bush Company headquarters in the near future, and look for a man named Mr. Collins in Oia County in the east of Galia,” Boris told him, “He was the mastermind behind Ziana’s kidnapping. See if you can find out anything.”
“It never ends, does it?” Biber mentioned Sean’s matter, “the Lewis family’s case is still unresolved, and there was
also the kidnapping five years ago. Not to mention, you and her had Edison between you. Are you really not going to tell her about what happened five years ago?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Then how did you win her back? Did you just watch her with Edison? She already likes you, it she knows about the misunderstandings and missed opportunities between you two five years ago, she might have had a change of heart.”
“I’m keeping an eye on Edison,” Boris pursed his lips, “As for what happened five years ago, everything I did for her was out of my own willingness. I don’t want her gratitude. I know what I’m doing when it comes to pursuing her.”
Biber clicked his tongue and suddenly teased him. “Are you finally admitting that you like her now?
Boris snorted lightly. “It’s none of your business.”
“You’re just being stubborn,” Biber always found it amusing to watch his friend’s contradictory words and actions.
His mood had improved a bit now. “If you have the ability, don’t just talk about liking her for your whole life. Let’s see when you can actually win Ziana over.”
“If I can’t win Ziana, you can’t win Livia either,” Boris and Biber bickered with each other’s words.
Biber fell silent for a moment. “Then you should hurry up and win her over.”
Boris chucked, feeling proud of winning the argument.
The nurse on Biber’s side came to tell him that Livia was almost done with her bandages. Biber acknowledged and said to Boris, “I have something else to do, so I’ll hang up now.”
“Go ahead. Don’t forget what I asked you to do.”
De Bo
“Don’t worry, I’m keeping an eye on Sean’s side. After Livia is okay, I’ll go to Galia to help you find Mr. Collins,” Biber replied, “and you should work harder to win back your wife.”
Despite feeling sympathy, Biber didn’t hold back in his words. “Even if you went to great lengths to give her a child, I don’t think it will be easy for you to win Ziana back. You were hot and cold towards her for the past three years, so you don’t deserve any sympathy, no matter how much you suffer later.”
“Does Ewen still recognize you as his father?” Biber chuckled softly, “I heard from Nell that Ewen cries loudly when he sees you.”
