The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee novel Chapter 435

Chapter 435 Playing Dumb and Tricking Her

He carefully lifted the covers and gently got in, keeping an eye on Ziana’s reaction.

Good.

She wasn’t awake.

After lying down, he quietly leaned toward her. Their bodies were next to each other.

She still wasn’t awake.

Boris was sure that she was asleep.

He was a little bolder and kissed her gently on her full, red lips.

His mouth touched her briefly and quickly and then moved away quickly.

His eyes fell on her face.

She was still sleeping peacefully and quietly, not disturbed at all by his rude behavior.

Boris raised his eyebrows, smiled smugly and closed his eyes in satisfaction.

He slept until 5:30 when he woke up on time.

The woman beside him was still awake. She didn’t usually get up at this time. But Boris could not lie down any longer, even if he did not want to leave.

If he was found out, Ziana, being so smart, would guess that he was not stupid.

It had been so hard for her to be so nice to him for the past two days, and he was too greedy for that feeling, so he had to pretend.

Boris once again tiptoed and went back to his bed.

It was cool inside the blanket, and indeed, it was a bit lonely to sleep alone.

He sighed, though not sleepy, and closed his eyes for the sake of the whole scheme.

About twenty minutes later, there was a rustling movement in the next bed.

The sound of a woman’s early morning voice reached his ears, causing him to stiffen slightly like an electric shock.

Boris took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

After a while, Ziana got up.

The first thing she did after getting up was to touch her mouth.

Get BotsTM

Last night, she dreamed that there were demons eating people’s mouths. She fought all night for

her mouth not to be eaten.

She could do nothing, but then something still seemed to be licking her.

Ziana touched her mouth and thought back to the dream she had. She had remembered it

particularly well, and when she opened her eyes, she had forgotten it all.

Forget it.

She couldn’t remember.

Ziana stretched out and got out of bed to wash up. When she passed Boris, she saw that his quilt was not covered, so she helped him to put it on.

She felt the blanket was cold and there was no heat inside.

Ziana frowned and looked thoughtful for a moment. Turning back to her bed, she felt under the quilt.

The area where she was sleeping was hot, and there was no problem.

Why was there residual heat even in the area where she wasn’t lying? Besides, there were marks on the pillow.

Ziana landed her eyes on Boris.

And he kissed me?

He’s not stupid?>

Just then, the caregiver knocked on the door. “Miss Scott, are you awake? What would you like to eat in the morning? I’ll go get breakfast.”

“Awake.” Ziana withdrew her gaze and smiled. “I’ll go get it later.”

The caregiver said quickly. “I’d better go. It’s cold in the morning in the winter, and you’re dressed thinly. Don’t catch a cold.”

“It’s okay, I’m just going out for a morning run.” Ziana did not want to dwell on this topic and directly settled the matter. “It’s a deal.”

The caregiver heard that she was firm, so she did not insist.

Ziana washed up and walked out of the room and was greeted by the caregiver in the living room. “Miss Scott, be careful.”

“Yes, I’m going for a run.”

“Okay.” The caregiver watched her leave and walked into the room a few moments later. “Mr.

Lewis, Miss Scott has gone out for her morning run.”

Boris didn’t sleep just now, so he naturally heard the conversation between the two people.

He laughed and said, “When she comes back for dinner, find your excuse to leave, got it?”

“Yes, I understand. I will leave you two alone.” The caregiver smiled and said, “Don’t worry. I’ll just say I have diarrhea.”

Boris admired the smart guy and looked at him. “Just come back in an hour.”

“Yes!”

Little did they know, however, that Ziana had left the ward and called Donald. “Come and get me.”

Boris washed up and looked at the time frequently.

When he was staying at the Scott family’s castle, he learned that Ziana’s morning run was half an

hour long.

There was a breakfast store right outside the hospital. With the round trip, she should be back in fifty minutes at most.

An hour had passed, but she didn’t return.

He couldn’t help but worry. “Call her.”

Seeing his face full of anxiety and a look of impatience, the caregiver hurriedly did as he was told.

But the phone rang twice and was hung up.

“Mr. Lewis, what’s… what’s going on?”
