The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee By Vera Whitehead Chapter 48
Chapter 48 The Big Secret
As soon as the message was delivered, Boris suddenly felt it was ambiguous and pampering. Would Ziana misunderstand that he was interested in her?
She was usually very self indulgent.
Boris hastily sent two text messages to clarify.
“I don’t have much time to help you deal with your trouble. Stop messing around, and don’t think of attracting my attention.”
“Men like meek and obedient women.”
Ziana was speechless.
“Why should I care about what men like?” Thought she.
Ziana looked at the unfamiliar number, feeling his message’s deep narcissism and sense of superiority. She knew who had sent it.
She twitched her mouth slightly, thinking Boris was crazy. She ignored him and continued to browse videos.
Boris saw it.
He thought she was replying to his message but didn’t receive it after a while. He smiled
meaningfully.
“Does she deliberately not reply?”
“Is she playing hard to get?”
In fact, Boris didn’t expect Ziana’s reply. After all, he had a lot of work to do.
So Boris turned the tablet aside and reviewed the documents.
He would occasionally look up. Ziana watched the videos all afternoon.
At five o’clock, today’s live-streaming was about to end.
Susan finally stopped fiddling with the guitar. She clapped and greeted the team members,
“Everyone, keep quiet. There is still half an hour. Let’s have a meeting. How’s your lyric
memorizing going?”
Probably because of Susan’s dress and temperament, she looked like a leader invisibly.
Several team members replied, “Almost done.”
Molly deliberately glanced at Ziana, “We’ve remembered it, but I don’t know if Miss Scott
remembers it?”
“I’ll memorize it now.” Ziana put away her phone while speaking, picked up the lyrics from the table, and glanced roughly.
It took Ziana less than two minutes. When Susan spoke again, Ziana stopped watching.
“I’ve done my arrangement, and now I will send you the score. Everyone will practice with the lyrics tonight. We will assign it tomorrow and then start practicing the song ”
Ziana frowned.
Molly saw her frown and shouted, “Miss Scott, do you have a problem? You didn’t memorize the lyrics today. We won’t wait for you alone tomorrow! After all, the time for rehearsal is very tight. If you can’t remember the lyrics by tomorrow, you just sing a few less lines!”
Ziana looked at her and smiled, “You made me really speechless. Stop poking your nose into my
affairs.”
Molly choked and shouted, “What are you talking about? Can you watch the language?”
Ziana really had no words now.
She shrugged and gave up, “Fine. Now I have seen everything. You should read more. Otherwise, you don’t understand what others say and get angry for no reason. Everyone will be embarrassed. I’m asking you to mind yourself.”
Molly always dreamed of being an influencer. Because of her good looks, she quit junior high school three years ago and pursued her dream of becoming an influencer.
She was poorly educated. After all, when she was in school, she felt sleepy when she read a book.
Molly didn’t understand what Ziana said but didn’t dare to yell for fear of saying something wrong and being laughed at.
So she just stood there blankly, and her face changed again and again. In the end, she just pouted
and sulked.
“Molly is so pitiful. She can’t understand. She wants to scold but dare not!”
“I know! Let me explain that. Poking one’s nose into something means minding others’ business.”
“Ziana is such an interesting woman. Good expression.”
“Go to study! Then you can use lots of smart words when you scold someone!”
“Don’t be so vulnerable! Be strong!”
Susan coughed lightly, breaking the stalemate, “Miss Scott, try to memorize the lyrics today.”
