Chapter 481 Yudel’s Trust
Yudel’s main concern was the matter of Ziana being put a curse. So Yudel got in the car and mentioned again.
His pretty eyes shone with a sharp light. “What’s the deal with being cursed?”
Boris leaned back in his chair tiredly and told him carefully the events of the past few days.
Yudel listened and pondered. “You mean that Ziana was already put a curse when Edison was injured and hospitalized?”
“I think so.” Boris speculated. “I have no proof, but Ziana was out of sorts when she went to see him that day. Don’t you think so?”
“Indeed.” Yudel agreed.
At that time, Ziana’s attitude was firm, and he thought it was a bit perverse.
Ziana was a person with a strong sense of proportion. She knew the difference between being single and having a partner.
When she was single, she could date a different man every day because she didn’t have to be responsible for anyone.
When she had a partner, she cared about his feelings and would not do what she knew was wrong.
“I didn’t think she was cursed at first, thinking she was sick or because of the after-effects of hypnosis. But after excluding them all, only that most unlikely of guesses remained. Do you know about Master Cody?” Boris asked Yudel.
Yudel pondered for a moment and looked at him unexpectedly. “Ziana’s master?”
“Yes.”
“And you went to him?” Yudel pursued.
“Yes,” Boris answered again.
Yudel was convinced. “He said she was cursed, so it’s true. Since you went to him, did you ask him for a solution?”
Boris frowned. “He said that we needed to find out who cursed her, so that’s why I went to Edison.”
“Ziana’s attitude towards Edison has, indeed, changed quite a bit, and it’s justifiable that you suspect him of doing it, but the problem now is…” Yudel’s voice was cold. “He won’t admit it, and he’s not likely to admit it, much less hand over the master.”
“If we want to save Ziana, we can only rely on ourselves to find out.”
Yudel’s analysis coincided with Boris’.
His trust in Boris also soothed his broken heart a little.
He spoke his thoughts. “I’ve asked someone to check Edison’s whereabouts for the past month, who he’s seen and where he’s gone. As soon as he leaves the palace and appears on the streets, he’ll be captured by the SkyEye system. Hopefully, we can find some clues from his whereabouts.”
Yudel patted him on the shoulder. “It’s a good method. Keep me informed if you find anything.”
Boris nodded, his expression not relaxed.
He looked toward the front, unaware that their car had caught up with Ziana’s.
What were she and Edison talking about and doing?
Boris’ mind suddenly reverberated with Ziana’s words and the look of disgust on her face as she spoke. His heart ached. The atmosphere, which had easily eased down, once again became cold and
stagnant because of her.
Yudel felt the sudden drop in temperature and followed his line of sight forward.
He said with understanding. “This is not the way back to the hotel.”
“Follow her.” Boris pursed his lips. “Take her back later.”
He had made the biggest concession by allowing her to take Edison away, and would never agree to her spending the night with him.
Yudel couldn’t help but be angry at the thought of Gigi forcibly taking his rival despite his objections, riding in the same car with him, and even spending the night together.
The air pressure in the carriage was instantly lower.
He lightly lifted his thin lips and said to Boris. “You have a good temper.”
“I’m holding back.” Boris smiled bitterly.
Yudel understood him and knew he was having a hard time, so he mentioned, “The Scott family went to Gália to check on something that happened five years ago and coincidentally ran into Biber. You sent him to check it out?”
This incident diverted Boris’ attention.
He said with a little surprise. “Yes, he found Mr. Collins, but Mr. Collins is dead.”
“That’s right, my man also checked here, but I told him to continue to check. Biber is one step faster. He found one of Mr. Collins’ former men and is following up on that man. I think we’re close to a result.” Yudel mentioned Biber, his tone was full of appreciation. “He’s got good skills,

surprisingly faster than the Scott family.”
Boris accepted the praise for his good buddy. “He hasn’t mentioned this to me yet. He followed up
on that henchman to make sure Mr. Collins was dead or not.”
Yudel light became dark. “I’ve never believed before that Edison had anything to do with what happened five years ago. But this time he put the curse on Ziana, which made me suspicious.”
Boris clenched his fist, his voice ruthless. “I won’t let any of them go.”
Whether it was Edison or the person who kidnapped them five years ago, he would make sure they paid the price they deserved.
The car suddenly began to slow down.
Nell’s voice came from the front. “Mr. Lewis, Mrs. Lewis is stopping.”
Boris and Yudel snapped back to attention and looked outside to see that they had arrived at the hospital.
Not far ahead, Ziana got out of the driver’s seat, pulled open the back seat door, and held out her hand toward the inside..
Edison weakly handed him his hand and got out of the car with her strength.
However, Edison was unsteady and almost fell, and Ziana rushed forward to support him.
So half of his body was leaning on her.
In the quiet carriage, Boris suddenly let out a low laugh.
Both Nell and Yudel were silent.
The next second.
Boris, who was sitting in a chair, suddenly pushed open the door and walked with big strides to Ziana. He roughly pulled Edison over and flung him hard toward the car.
“Bang!”
