He secretly wished he could find a girl like Natalia, just as warm and gentle, to be his, just like Magnus had. He kept this thought to himself, though, knowing Magnus would never let him hear the end of it if he found out!
Night fell, casting a heavy veil over their varying emotions, and lulling each of them into a restful sleep.
Meanwhile, an hour behind Rome, in the UK, Lexi was lying flustered and disheveled on her wide bed. She had just finished nursing her child. His chubby little face was still fresh in her mind. She felt calm and peaceful, but everything changed when Callum, that shameless rascal, entered the picture.
He appeared from who knows where, and easily undid the nursing bra she had just fastened. He then shamelessly went on to take advantage of her.
Despite Lexi's vigorous resistance, her petite frame was no match for the towering Callum. He even had the audacity to claim he was doing her a favor since their son couldn't drink all her milk.
Lexi lay beneath him, resisting the urge to make a loud noise for fear of waking their just-fed, sleeping son. She continually punched Callum's back with her small fists.
"Shh, Lexi, you're going to choke me like this," Callum grumbled, pulling away only enough to avoid wasting their son's milk before diving back into Lexi's bosom.
Watching his fuzzy head nuzzling against her neck, Lexi grabbed his ear, softly scolding, "Callum, you're getting too cocky!"
Callum reluctantly pulled away from Lexi's chest, giving her a pitiful look full of sadness. "Darling, how can you treat me like this? I was just trying to ease your discomfort. And now you're blaming me? Do you know how much pressure I'm under?"
Saying this, Callum shamelessly guided Lexi's hand to his lower abdomen.
Lexi knew his intentions and tried to pull her hand away. But her efforts were in vain as Callum held her hand firmly against his sensitive area. "Callum, you're shameless. Let go of me," Lexi scolded quietly.
Callum chuckled, "Lexi, men have to be a bit shameless. How else are we going to continue our bloodline? I think we could use another kid. Are you ready to start our own soccer team?"
"Ugh!" Lexi pushed him away. "Get off me. You're disgusting!"
"Nope, sweet Lexi. Look at how beautiful the moonlight is. We should really discuss these wonderful things together," Callum murmured, pulling Lexi into his arms and landing a light kiss on her lips.
His kisses started off softly, but soon his restraint disappeared, and he passionately devoured her lips. He pried open her teeth and danced with her tongue.
Lexi couldn't resist his powerful onslaught, and soon her body melted into him.
Callum quickly removed any remaining barriers. "Baby, let's continue with our baby-making plans." And with that, he had his way with her.
The ethereal moonlight poured in through the window, scattering silver light across the floor, while the atmosphere in the room heated up.
Lexi lost count of how many times they made love. It wasn't until their baby started crying that Callum atop her finally released her. She wanted to go and comfort their baby, but she didn't even have the strength to move.
She heard Callum soothing their baby, "Be good, kiddo. Your mommy's tired. Are you trying to get us into trouble? Keep crying, and I'll throw you out on the street."
In no time, Diana had reached the boarding gate and climbed the spiral staircase onto the plane. As Diana stepped into the cabin, she saw the striking Magnus, her heart fluttering. The sight of such a handsome man was worth the early morning grooming.
"Hi, good morning!" Diana theatrically blew Magnus a kiss.
Magnus slightly furrowed his brows but still returned the greeting with the utmost courtesy. "Good morning, you look very pretty today."
What was meant as a casual compliment from Magnus was taken to heart by Diana. She confidently sat next to him, completely ignoring James, who was also on the plane.
"Mr. Andersen, you look so refreshed. It's making my heart flutter," Diana admitted unabashedly, not attempting to hide her infatuation with Magnus at all.
Upon hearing this, Magnus remained silent, his brow furrowing slightly. He changed the subject, saying, "Miss Diana, I noticed you brought quite a lot of luggage with you. You really didn't have to bring so much. If you need anything while in Melfort, just let James know, and he can help you get it."
Magnus had made the comment casually, but Diana's heart fluttered at his words. The stars in her eyes suddenly leaped.
My God, was Mr. Andersen treating her with special favor? She didn't have to bring anything; he would just buy whatever she needed.
My goodness! Could happiness come any more suddenly? She was so elated she felt faint!
