The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus) novel Chapter 483

Magnus couldn't hide his annoyance as Natalia showed no signs of leaving. He wrapped his arms around her slim waist with a petulant grip and pulled her close. "Honey, can we just quit Hector's ragged old firm? Wouldn’t it be nicer to just work at our own place? I need you."

Natalia squirmed uncomfortably in Magnus’ embrace. This man was infuriating. He was acting so childishly, was this really the same guy who, with a cold distance, used to push everyone away from his wheelchair?

With a resigned smile, she nodded. "How about this? I'll design a few pieces for your company, too. Does that work for you?"

At her words, a triumphant, childlike grin spread across Magnus’ face. He hugged Natalia tighter and planted a tender kiss on her delicate earlobe. "My lady, it's our company. Why do you call it mine? I knew you were the most understanding."

His mood lifted. Hector's fashion line was a hit, all thanks to Natalia’s talent. The thought of her helping Hector rake in money was ludicrous to Magnus. How could he, as her husband, stand for that?

Natalia’s fingers combed through Magnus’ hair, her voice soft. “It’s not that I’m too understanding. It’s just that you’re too irresistible.”

“Well, of course, I have my moments,” bragged Magnus as he scooped Natalia up and headed toward the bedroom.

Natalia, sensing his intentions and feeling the pressure against her back, blushed and gently pounded on his chest. “You bad boy, let me go. I still have sketches to do.”

Magnus barely noticed her light resistance. “My dear, how can you think of drawing at a time like this? Help me out first, and then let’s discuss your sketches, okay?”

Without waiting for her refusal, he had already laid her down on the soft bed and pressed himself gently on top.

Trapped beneath Magnus’ chest, Natalia knew any protest was futile. Magnus lowered his head and covered her lips with his, engaging in a long, passionate kiss. When he finally pulled back, his voice was hoarse. “My love, you’ll never understand how much I adore you. Your kindness, your talent – you’re the best gift I’ve ever received from above.”

Natalia shuddered at his words. The man was back to his charming British ways.

Magnus murmured sweet nothings, kissing Natalia devoutly. He was utterly besotted with the woman beneath him, captivated by her every smile, every gesture.

Lost in the moment, Natalia wrapped her arms around his lean waist and murmured back, “Darling…"

At her response, Magnus deepened their kiss. His kisses became more intense, as if he wished to consume her completely. He thrusted into her, drowned in pleasure.

Natalia smiled silently as she watched Magnus fax the design to his assistant, urging her to start preparations for the shoe production.

After arranging everything, Magnus returned to Natalia, barely containing his joy. "Darling, have you thought of a brand name for these shoes?"

"Not yet," Natalia shook her head, then added with serious thought, "I only just thought of Cinderella's lost glass slipper and sketched this draft. It's still very rough. Are you sure you want to start mass production now?"

Magnus kissed Natalia's forehead with excitement. "Absolutely, my dear. You might not understand the potential of these shoes yet. If you don't trust your own strength, then trust my judgment! Once this product is launched, it will definitely make waves!"

"Alright, alright, if it makes you happy." Magnus' infectious enthusiasm had successfully spread to Natalia, who chuckled alongside him, playfully seeking his input. "Since you're the man behind the curtain, Mr. Andersen, why don't you do the honors and christen our new product line?”

"Oh, I couldn't possibly take credit," Magnus objected with false modesty, though he had, in fact, already decided on a brand name. "Ha, how about we call this line of shoes, NM? What do you think? Sounds a bit more upscale than NH International, doesn't it?"

Natalia nearly choked on her laughter, expecting some grand, sophisticated name, only to find that Magnus was still keeping score with Hector!
