The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus) novel Chapter 548

He gently pulled down the quilt that was cocooning Natalia, revealing her flushed cheeks, and his heart swelled with sweetness as if he'd just sipped honey. "Sweetheart, there's no need to be embarrassed. It's not like you haven't doubted me before. Remember a decade ago, you thought I had a thing with Kendra? I don't blame you. I blame myself for not making you trust me right away!"

Magnus leaned down tenderly, yearning to kiss those cherry lips he'd been craving for so long. But as he moved in, young Jonas beat him to it, planting a kiss on Natalia's cheek. "Mommy, I am here!"

Magnus, frustration bubbling up, tossed Jonas behind him. "Ollie, take Jonas out!"

Jonas, of course, resisted, "Dad, you're being selfish!"

"Call it what you will, but remember this, kiddo, if you want to steal kisses, find your own wife, not mine!"

Magnus declared his dominion fiercely. Natalia was his wife, and no one else's!

Since Jonas had been by her bedside for days on end, Magnus wasn't about to hold a grudge for a mere peck now.

Jonas started to walk away, looking back at the dark circles under Magnus' eyes, and decided not to argue. "Fine, you're an old man now, I'll let you have her," he said, strutting out of the room, head held high.

Once Jonas was gone, Magnus grumbled, "Honey, did you hear that brat? I am 'an old man,' he says. Do I look old to you? If he weren't so grown up already, I'd be spanking his behind!"

Before he could finish, Natalia's hand gently covered his lips. Her eyes sparkled as she gazed at Magnus, her beautiful smile turning the world upside down. "Honey, I love you."

His mind exploded with joy as he cupped Natalia's face. "I love you too." He lowered his head and captured her lips at last.

The room was filled with a serene quiet, surrounded by enviable pink hearts.

Magnus lay down beside her, embracing her slender body, kissing her deeply. He pried open her lips, sweeping through her mouth, drawing her in with fervor.

Soon, Natalia felt his urgency pressing against her. She gently pushed Magnus away, but he flipped her beneath him, kissing her more boldly. "Honey, we’re in a hospital... you,” Natalia gasped in surprise.

“Darling, I’ve been so scared lately, I’ve nearly been sick with worry. I’ve watched over you and bathed you. I've been holding back for too long. Come on..."

Magnus continued his assault, kissing Natalia’s lips, chin, and neck, until he reached for her hospital pants.

Natalia used her hand to stop him, but he pressed against her delicate hand with his boner. "Honey..."

"This is a hospital, sweetheart. I want to be discharged."

Magnus closed his eyes, moving off her with difficulty. "Alright... I’ll get you discharged and go home."

What is happiness? It's finding the perfect person for you and then living happily ever after...

But the men only glanced at her with disdain, the boat slicing through the waves.

With her eyes closed in despair, Alice knew her end was near...

Meanwhile, back in Hawaii, Magnus’ villa was demolished without a trace. Magnus didn't want Natalia, freshly discharged from the hospital, to see the place that held so much pain.

Watching the dust settle from the demolished villa, Magnus vowed, "Honey, I'll protect you with my life. No one will hurt you again."

The old villa was gone, and Magnus built a new, elegant mansion by the sea for Natalia.

Workers toiled quickly, and soon, the luxurious seaside villa stood proudly—a symbol of their love and Magnus' unyielding commitment to Natalia's happiness.

Magnus took Natalia's hand, guiding her gently into the entrance of their new villa, his voice a soft murmur, "Darling, are you pleased with what you see?"

Natalia gazed upon the splendid house before her, nodding slightly. "I love it, but I wonder if Jonas will."

"Oh, the most important thing is what you think. He'll only be staying here from time to time. Before you know it, he'll be off making a life of his own," Magnus declared with a confident air as if Jonas was on the brink of setting up his own household.

Jonas, overhearing this, raised his objections with a playful shake of his fist. "Dad, if you're so eager to see me off, maybe I should just pack up and head back to the dorms."
