"You all wanted a queen to stand here by the side of my son who is the Alpha king ,well I am more than happy to inform you all that my son has chosen his queen and she is someone among you all"

"She may not have Alpha blood in her but she is a very powerful werewolf and you all already love her for her personality"

His gaze shifted towards his son Aaron who was already staring at him with an emotionless look

"The future queen of werewolves will be Jane Augustus,if anyone has any objections they can state it now or they can stay quiet for the rest of their lives,

A elder lady of the pack objected

"I don't think they are mates,shouldn't we try to find our Alpha's mate?"

This was expected but the previous Alpha king dreaded this question

All remained quit still digesting the biggest news of the decade

"Good ,a ceremony will be held on next full moon 10 days from today to make this official and all pack members are cordially invited"

Aaron was the first one to leave the room leaving behind all the rumours that have started and which were going to spread faster than the wildfire in the werewolf kingdom

It shouldn't hurt

But it does

More than any physical pain I have gone through

There is this feeling which I can't explain

He is getting settled

She is perfect for him

I should be happy

But I am not

this pain in my chest and this uneasiness in my mind doesn't fade away no matter what

One said holding the other person's hand whose face was covered with a black cloak

"A..are you sure we will win ,I mean he is the Alpha king after all"

On hearing this I looked closely to find the identity of this backstabber but his face was well hidden by the cloak.

"I know no one was able to defeat him till now but this time we have the biggest and strongest alliance against him
