Chapter 679
The mountains of documents, Zachary and the other two looked at each other, not knowing what to do.
fust too many files, and even if they had gone through them all, it would have taken many days.
posible that while they were going through the files, Nightfiend Demigod had already changed into a different nuity and disappeared within those organizations.
Fer the other members of the Dragon Team handle it. They are professionals in this field.”
After Zachary flipped through a few documents, he decided to give up and simply threw the files away. He made a phone call to the Dragon Team’s professional document exarniner to come and take a look.
Meanwhile, he drove straight to the military department and sought out Steve to have a thorough discussion about the
matter.
The Nightfiend Demigod from the Radiant Society’s Heavenly Demigods?”
After hearing Zachary’s words, Steve’s eyes flashed with a fierce and murderous aura.
He had heard of the Heavenly Demigods of the Radiant Society.
He never expected that these people would dare to target him. They were simply asking for death!
“Mr. Sky, what is your plan regarding this matter?” Zachary asked.
“Thank you for providing the information, Mr. Tyler. I am now aware of everything, and I will take it from here,” Steve said confidently.
Although Nightfiend Demigod was clusive and capable of infiltrating anywhere, Steve was not intimidated. He remained self–assured and maintained a courteous demeanor toward Zachary.
“Then I will leave it to you, Mr. Sky,” Zachary said, relieved as he observed Steve’s expression.
The Dragon Team had too few personnel in Lightdom City and even fewer with abilities. Moreover, they currently lacked any god–class experts who could handle someone of Nightfiend Demigod’s caliber.
With Steve’s confidence now assured, Zachary could finally feel at ease.
Steve smiled faintly and said, “Mr. Tyler, there’s no need to be so polite. I should be the one thanking you. The information network of the Dragon Team is truly unparalleled. You guys even managed to trace Nightfiend Demigod’s whereabouts.
“If it weren’t for your intelligence, our Monoceros Army would have been caught off guard.”
Upon hearing this, Zachary felt a bit ashamed.
The Dragon Team had not received any information at all. If it weren’t for Haylan informing them, they would have been completely in the dark.
At the same time, he grew even more curious about Haylan’s background and identity.
Teams like the Dragon Team and the Monoceros Army were unable to perceive the presence of Nightfiend Demigod. How did Haylan come to know about it?”
Where did Haylan get the information?
Haylan drove and arrived near his home, where he sat down at a nearby café. He ordered four cups of coffee and leisurely sipped on one of them?
Before long, Xander arrived with a man and a woman. He greeted Haylan with a smile, saying, “Mr. Jaber, I brought my two seniors here.”,
Without any hesitation, Xander took a seat in front of Haylan and picked up a cup of coffee to drink.
The man and woman accompanying him looked at Haylan with astonishment upon hearing Xander’s words, sizing him up from head to toe.
They looked about forty years old. The man had a handsome and dignified appearance, while the woman was breathtakingly beautiful, with bright eyes and white teeth. Her figure was graceful and charming.
At first glance, the two looked like an immortal couple stepping out of a painting, perfectly matched and pleasing to the eye.
“You, are you the Sovereign?” the man looked at Haylan, his face filled with disbelief.
“It’s me!”
Haylan smiled and pushed one of the cups of coffee toward the man, gesturing for him to take a seat. He said, “Mr. Yang Envoy, it’s been a while since we last met.”
Lady Yin Envoy, please have a seat. No need to be so formal.”
