Chapter 50 – The Full Moon 

LIAM

We are standing in the clearing, waiting for all those packmembers who wish to run with us tonight. I look down at Laura and bends down kissing her forehead. When finally, everyone is here I clear my throat.

“Hello everyone, its always amazing to see us all together before we let out our wolves. Before we run, I have one announcement to make. I have bid welcome to an old family friends from our Queens family. This very old witch has her magic given to her by light and love. After she tonight does a spell that will make protection for our kids, she wishes to rest and just enjoy the rest of her life. So, I granted her a house in the forest where she can be in peace. And I command everyone to respect that. With that said I think we should run and tonight will also be our new queen‘s first Full Moon run with us. Enjoy everyone.” | loudly speak out also opening the packlink so everyone can hear me.

I look down at Laura again and smile as I take her hand and walk to the forest line. I bend down kissing her long and softly pushing her shoulders traps down so her dress falls to the ground. I drop my shorts and we both shift. Kali and Shadow nuzzle each other a little then turn to howl to the moon and Runs into the forest

It doesn‘t take long before howls are heard throughout the forest and running paws fall heavily on the ground. I have done this so many times I can‘t count, but tonight is different, there is a refreshed and new energy, and I realize how much it was not only me needing Laura. But they have been missing a Luna and a Queen, And now she is here, everyone will protect her.

Kali is enjoying the run and she keeps biting Shadow playfully and he does the same. The wolves around u s watch with eyes that look amused. After a good run we turn to head back to where we left our clothes, and getting there we see a figure standing in the dark. Several wolves come up standing next to us, but I hurry to shift and command.

“Stand down, this is Valerie, the friend of your queen‘s family.” They do as told And back away. I hurry to take on my shorts and help Laura, get her dress back on. Before we turn back to Valerie.

“Valerie, I apologize my people do not know your scent. So they.” I am cut off by small laughter.

“Oh, your highness. You do not need to apologize. It‘s their job to keep you and your queen safe.” She says calmly

“Thank you for understanding,” I say bowing my head slightly and she nods smiling.

VALERIE

I finished putting the protection spell into the stones on the bracelet, and I am quite happy with its finishing result. With 3 powerful stones on it, I had the chance to make the spell even stronger. Now I am waiting for the king and queen to hand over the bracelet and warn them. And hopefully, it‘s not too late.

*FLASHBACK*

I had just finished the protection spell for the little wolf. When I flash consumes my mind and I am pulled into some I in my almost 300 years have never experienced before a vision.

“Are you sure?” The man asks.

With that, the vision is over, and I look at my hands seeing I have spilled a tiny bit of the child‘s blood on m y hands. I now have a pretty good idea of what this blessed wolf will have as her powers. But I hope that the child does not yet get these visions. It can be a lot for a child to bear. But I know I need to warn the King and Queen

I am standing in the dark, waiting patiently when I see the 2 wolves come out from between the trees. More wolves come out of the forest and immediately get to a protective stand, I always admired how wolves protect each other. In a flash the king shifts back to his naked human form and orders them all to stand down and after he and the queen are both dressed he turns to me.
