The maid answered “Ellinor, Marissa Blanchet is about to hit the road” 

Was Marissa leaving? 

Ellinor was worried about whether Marissa had been affected by yesterday’s incident with Veronica Blanchet. Then she heard Marissa calling her name in a soft voice. 

“Ellinor” 

She lifted her head and saw Marissa sauntering over from across the room. 

“Granny. I heard you’re about to split?” 

Manssa smiled gently, sighing. “Yeah, I gotta jet. I need to go look after your grandpa. The stubborn old man hasn’t followed the doctor’s orders since his surgery He needs 

me 

“Oh, I see” Upon hearing this, Ellinor didn’t insist on Marissa staying. “Well, take care of yourself, Granny Watch your step.” 

Manssa nodded and held her hand gently. “Ellinor, I know you’ve been having a rough time. Veronica really crossed the line! Don’t worry. I’m gonna ship her off to her grandpa’s. She won’t be a nuisance to you guys anymore” 

It’s rare to find an elder who doesn’t play favorites when it comes to their grandkids, even in the face of right and wrong 

Ellinor felt moved. “Thanks for understanding Granny.” 

“After I leave, you and Theo have to keep your chins up, alright?” 

Keep their chins up? 

Ellinor was puzzled. She didn’t immediately understand what “keep your chins up” meant. Seeing the meaningful smile on Marissa’s face, she blushed

Granny was definitely going to be disappointed. There was absolutely no chance of any good news between her and Theo 

By the time Granny comes back, her agreement with Theo would have expired and she would be leaving. 

Theo Blanchet sent Collin to take Marissa to the airport. 

Considering how kind Marissa had been to her, Ellinor decided to accompany them to the airport. 

After bidding goodbye to Marissa, Ellinor came out of the airport. Collin handed her a job application form in the car. 

“Ms. Mendoza, Mr. Blanchet knows you’ll be looking for a job after college. He asked me to arrange one for you.” 

Ellinor was surprised. She looked down at the form in her hand, “So what job are you arranging for me?”
