“To work? Aren’t you a nanny at some wealthy person’s home?” 

“My employer is hardly ever home. And there’s not much to do around the house So, I thought I’d find a side gig to make some extra dough 

Sheila gave Ellinor a once–over with a mocking smirk on her face. Seeing Ellinor looking for extra work made her laugh, “You need a side gro? Looks like your employer isn’t paying you much, huh?” 

Ellinor nodded. “Yeah, not much” 

“What’s up, Sheila? Why are you still hanging around the door? Aren’t you supposed to be shooting a magazine cover?” 

A frendly middle–aged man’s voice came from the office. 

Sheila turned her head, giving the man inside a flirtatious laugh, “I was just leaving, but someone’s blocking the door!” 

“Blocking the door? Let me see who dares block our star’s way!” 

The manager. Mr Fang came out, ready to scold an ignorant subordinate. But when he saw Ellinor standing at the office door, he froze. 

He’d worked in the entertainment industry for years and seen many beauties, but he was rarely taken by a woman’s looks 

But a girl with a bare face like the one at the door was a rare sight in the entertainment circle. 

“You are Mr. Fang collected himself and asked her 

Ellinor introduced herself politely. “Mr. Fang, my name is Ellinor. Someone told me to come see you and said you’d arrange a job for me 

Mr. Fang paused, “Ellinor? So it’s you! Come in!” 

Collin had just called him to arrange a job for a girl named Ellinor. 

Though Collin hadn’t specified who this Ellinor was, anyone who had Mr Blanchet’s right hand man, Collin, personally arranging a job for them must be special. He couldn’t afford to neglect her 

Ellinor followed Mr. Fang into the office. 

Sheila was left at the office door, looking displeased. 

She thought Mr. Fang would come out and give Ellinor a piece of his mind! 

But not only did Mr. Fang look at Ellinor like a dirty old man, but he also cordially invited her into the office, leaving her hanging! 

What the hell was going on?! 

Sheila felt uncomfortable So she didn’t leave and turned back into Mr. Fang’s office 

She wanted to see what kind of job Ellinor would be doing 

“Ms. Mendoza what kind of position are you interested in?” Mr. Fang asked Ellinor from behind his desk 

Ellinor replied, “Anything is fine, as long as it pays well!” 

Mr Fang looked at her somewhat regretfully, thinking, “Ms. Mendoza, have you ever considered being an artist? I’ve noticed you’re quite attractive. If you’re willing to debut as an artist. I believe you have a bright future” 

An artist? 

Ellinor frowned, “I’m not interested in that! Are there other positions?” 

She was just here to get by She’d leave after three months and had no intention of staying long–term. 

Sheila immediately felt threatened when she heard Mr. Fang’s intentions to sign Ellinor. 

Even though she despised Ellinor and didn’t want to admit that she was beautiful. But in this situation, she had to face reality and be on guard. 

If Ellinor could also sign with the Blanchet Corporation and make her debut, she might steal her thunder.
