Sophia's face froze, and she forced another smile. "It's OK; you can give it to Ellinor. Let her try it; every girl likes chocolate!"
"If I want to give her something, I don't need to give her someone else's stuff. If she wants to eat it, I'll buy it for her myself."
Sophia felt rebuffed and had to pick up the box of chocolates. "You're right, I wasn't considerate enough. I'll take it with me. I'll come to see you when I have time."
Theo nodded slightly. "Next time we meet, I hope your documents are all sorted."
Sophia's face turned ugly. In other words, he only hoped to cancel the meaningless marriage certificate the next time he saw her; if there was nothing else, he didn't want to see her.
