The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 1369

Chapter 1369

Belinda made her needs clear. "Nah, | ain't going home; take me to Crescent Society."

Upon hearing Crescent Society, Byran was all ears. "Why on earth are you heading there this early?"

Recalling her last phone call with Jacob yesterday, Belinda felt a bit ticked off and wanted to clear the air with him.

"I'm off to meet someone; got some stuff to sort out."

The driver started the car slowly. "Sir, do you want me to drop you off at school first, or should | take Ms. Wesley to Crescent Society first?"

Crescent Society was closer than Byran’s school.

Without hesitation, Byran replied, "I've got time; drop her off first."

"Sure thing, sir."

The car headed towards Crescent Society.

Byran, arms crossed like a kid, guessed. "I bet you're going to Crescent Society to see Chase, right?"

Hearing Chase's name made Belinda’'s brow furrow unconsciously.

"No! It's none of your business; stop guessing."

Byran eyed her sideways. "Alright, you're still playing coy; | saw it coming; you've fallen for Chase, haven't you?"

Belinda glared at him. "I'm not playing coy. I'm not going there to see Chase."

Belinda was so angry that she wanted to punch him. Just then, the car pulled up near Crescent Society, and she saw Ida at the entrance through the car window.

"Byran, | think you're the one getting ahead of yourself. You claim to be Ms. Gipson's boyfriend, but | bet she doesn't see you that way."

Byran crossed his arms confidently. "What a joke! Me, get ahead of myself? Ida likes me; | like her; what else could we be if not boyfriend and girlfriend?"

Belinda pointed towards the car window behind him with a frown.

"Maybe you should take a look outside the car window before you speak."

"Look at what?" Byran felt Belinda was messing with him, but he looked anyway. His handsome face froze, his pupils dilated, and his jaw clenched.

Outside the entrance of Crescent Society, Ida was standing with a man; their behavior suggested intimacy as they were chatting.
