That rascal had grown a lot in the past three years. After graduating, they shipped him off to the overseas branch to get a grasp of their business. Now he was capable enough to stand on his own. 

This brought a sense of pride to Balfour. Finally, Byran was no longer the mischievous youngster he once was. 

Tomorrow, he would arrange a position for Byran in the company and let him gain more experience.

After three years, Byran was home, 

Home was still as comfortable as ever. He lounged lazily on the couch, using his forearms as a pillow. 

He glanced at his father, who had just hung up the phone. “Let me guess, big brother’s not coming back, is he?” 

McNeil Howard set his cellphone aside. “Your brother has some business to attend to today. He’ll come to see you tomorrow.” 

Byran hummed dismissively. “I knew it. Big bro wouldn’t drop everything just for me.”

At the VIP seats, Ida swirled her wine glass absentmindedly while turning to the man next to her, Chase. “What’s the deal with Sophia’s husband? Were you able to dig up anything?” 

Chase casually crossed his legs as a frown appeared on his face. “It’s a tough nut to crack. Sophia seems to have put up defenses. All I know so far is that her husband is disabled. He’s always in a wheelchair, but I couldn’t find a single picture 

Wheelchair? Disabled? Ida squinted as she remembered Mr. Blanchet, who, before his disappearance, was last seen at the airport in a wheelchair..
