The man was hypnotized. He should not have known that he had other children besides Tristan. 

If he knew that Tristan was not Tristan and pretended not to know, it would mean he might have discovered something. 

That would not be good. 

At this moment, Sophia’s eyes were filled with darkness. If she couldn’t get what she wanted, she would destroy it. She would not hand it to anyone else! 

Ellinor put the sleeping Tristan to bed, then headed to the bathroom for a shower. After, she changed into a comfortable and loose outfit. 

When she came out, Tristan was still asleep. She walked over to the bedside and looked at Baber and Layla, who were still frolicking and flying kites in the garden, as her eyes filled with maternal tenderness. 

After summoning a servant to watch over Tristan, Ellinor confidently climbed the small tower to watch Baber and Layla. 

Though it wasn’t quite noon, the sun was already quite harsh. 

Ellinor looked at the two children, who were not afraid of the sun at all, somewhat helplessly. She walked under Veronica’s sunshade and shouted. 

“Alright, stop playing! If you play any longer, you’ll both be sunburned!” 

After hearing their mommy’s voice, the two little ones who were fighting over the kite immediately turned their heads to look at Ellinor, then dropped the kite and ran over. 

Baber affectionately took Ellinor’s hand. “Mommy, you’re back!” 

Ellinor smiled and nodded. “Yes, Mommy’s back.” 

Layla, hugging her mommy’s leg, looked up. Her cute little face didn’t show any signs of sunburn. Her face was tender, she was probably the most cute girl in the world. 

“Mommy! Why are you so late? Did you bring anything fun and delicious for me and my brother?” 

The little girl spoke while stretching out her small hand to plead. 

Ellinor patted her daughter’s little hand. “You played all morning; haven’t you had enough? All you know is to ask Mommy for fun things.” 

Hearing this, Layla understood that there were no gifts, and she pouted unhappily. “Mommy! You only took Adrian out and forgot to bring gifts for me and Baber!” 

Ellinor didn’t forget about this, but she returned in Bartlett’s car, and it wasn’t appropriate to ask him to detour to buy gifts for her children. 

Her daughter was really hard to fool. 

Ellinor squatted down and hugged both children. “Mommy didn’t forget. I want to take you out to buy gifts later. You guys can pick them out yourself. Is that okay?” 

Of course, children prefer to choose their own gifts. 

After hearing this, Baber and Layla were overjoyed. The siblings echoed in unison, “Yes, yes!”
