The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 1731

Chapter 1731

It was none other than Bartlett.

Unlike the Bartlett she saw in the morning, who was dressed in a neat suit, the Bartlett in front of her was now shirtless, with just a pair of jeans on.

Ellinor frowned. “Mr. Rex, is it customary for you to strip in someone else’s office?”

Beads of sweat rolled down Bartlett’s muscular shoulders, adding an enticing touch to his already fit physique.

“Ellinor, isn’t this the outcome you wanted?” He questioned.

Ellinor grimaced. “What outcome? I want you to leave, not hang around waiting for me.”

Bartlett smirked. “Really? I thought you wanted me to stay and heat up, so you could enjoy the view.”

Ellinor had seen shameless men, but none quite as presumptuous as this one.

“Mr. Rex, are you always so full of yourself?”

Bartlett chuckled nonchalantly. “Of course not! Only when it comes to you, Ellinor. You’ve put me in this state, so you’re responsible for me now.”

Ellinor’s expression hardened. Her amusement was gone.

This was the Blanchet Corporation. Her employees were waiting outside for her, and here was Bartlett, brazenly shirtless.

What a spectacle!

“Put your shirt back on!” She ordered.

Bartlett, knowing this would irk Ellinor, moved a step closer. “No, I’m too hot! Ellinor, how can you make me wear a shirt in this heat? Are you trying to kill me?”

“If you’re really that hot, put on your shirt and leave! It’s cooler outside! If you really refuse to wear your shirt, feel free to strut out shirtless. But you can’t be here and stand in front of me, half-naked!”

Bartlett smirked. “Why can’t I be in front of you like this? Afraid you can’t resist?!

Ellinor twitched her mouth in annoyance. “Have you no shame?”

Bartlett laughed lightly. “Ellinor, we’ve known each other for so long, yet you still don’t understand me? If I had any shame, I wouldn’t be chasing after you. I miss you every second we’re apart, to the point where I can’t sleep. I’ve tried staying away from you, but I couldn’t even last until this morning before calling you. And now, you’re torturing me in this heat?”

Ellinor frowned. “Mr. Rex, I can’t control what you think of me. But you should have some principles. I’m a married woman with children. Your behavior is inappropriate!”

Bartlett held her in his arms. “I don’t care! I don’t care what people say about me. I only want you! I want to have you as my own! I’m willing to try anything to make you mine!”
