Ellinor looked dazed and confused upon hearing this.

Seeing this, Theo asked, "What case are we talking about?"

The cops only noticed Theo in the room, looking slightly startled.

"Oh? Mr. Blanchet, do you know Ellinor too?"

Theo answered thoughtfully, "Yes, what happened to her?"

Standing beside Theo, Patricia looked at the police as if recalling a terrifying experience from last night. She instinctively moved closer to Theo for protection with a worried expression on her face.

"Officer, what crime is Ellinor suspected of? Are you sure you got it right? Ellinor is a good person!"

Seeing Patricia's reaction, the cop was even more surprised, "Ms. Howard, you're here too! Looks like you all know Ellinor?"

Considering the victim and her family's right to know, the cop spilled the beans.
