The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 2897

"Alright, let's have Emma whip up a few of her quick specials. You absolutely must try her signature dish, the Prawn Perfection. It's divine, Nolan; you've got to taste it!"

Regina had completely forgotten the sting on her cheek. This was the first time Nolan was coming over for lunch as her husband, and although the timing and circumstances were less than ideal, she still wanted Nolan to enjoy her favorite dishes.

Nolan nodded with a gracious smile. "Sounds delightful."

Francis, seizing the opportunity, chimed in, "Oh, it truly is! Emma's been with the Tanner family since forever, came over with Regina's mom back in the day. She's been cooking for Regina since she was a little girl – knows her palate like the back of her hand. If you're a fan, why not bring Emma over to your place? She could look after your meals on the daily."

Nolan didn't reject the suggestion outright; instead, he looked to Regina, seemingly asking for her opinion.

Regina was at a loss for words. They weren't even living together yet, so where would Emma stay if she moved out?

Was she supposed to shuttle back and forth between their places on alternating days? That seemed too much of a hassle for Emma.

"If you like the idea, we could move into the place my parents are gifting us for our wedding. It's all set up and not far from your office. Emma could come over and take good care of you, and I'd have peace of mind while I'm at work."

Property in SouthHill Community was coveted, something even the wealthy Tanner family could only dream of. Yet here was Nolan, casually offering it as if Regina's agreement was the only contingency.
