Patricia nodded, “Yeah, she’s hitched. And get this, her hubby is from the Blanchet family, the top dogs in town.” 

Sheila’s face fell. “What the heck are you talking about? How is that even possible?” 

Patricia put on a sympathetic face. “Miss Sheila, it’s pouring cats and dogs outside Mind if I come in and we can hash this out?” 

Sheila thought for a second “Alright, come on in! I need to get the lowdown on this. How on earth did Ellinor end up marrying into the Blanchet family? What’s the scoop? 

Even though she was still unsure about the person standing in front of her, her words had her mind spinning with recent events.
