Patricia knew it was Theo coming to check on things, but she didn’t want him to see Ellinor again

After a moment of thought, a sly grin crossed Patricia’s face and she loudly said, “Balfour, when did you start keeping a cat in your office? The poor thing just choked on some fish it was eating. Good thing it coughed it up, or we could’ve had a real situation on our hands! You need to be careful not to feed such a small cat fish!

Balfour got the hint from Patricia’s words and responded, “Ah, my bad, first time owning a cat. I’ll keep that in mind.”
