Theo’s sudden appearance took everyone aback, and they started whispering among themselves 

“Holy cow! Am I seeing things? Did Theo really show up at the Howard family’s bash?” 

“Mr. Blanchet must be here for Ms. Howard, right? Breaking traditions to woo the girl he’s head over heels in love with, who belongs to a family he’s supposed to be feuding with Talk about making a grand gesture!”
