After a deep thought, a slight hint of resentment surfaced in Ellinor’s eyes as she looked at Patricia “You’re right, you won! But you didn’t really beat me, you just won because you have a brother who’s willing to stand up for you!”

Ellinor chuckled. “Is there such a thing as mercy, Ms. Howard?” 

Patricia’s face froze, she glared at Ellinor, then turned to the people behind her and yelled, “Quinton, Ellinor says she’s ready for the operation!” 

Quinton came up to arrange it, and Ellinor was taken into the operating room by the medical staff… 

Patricia sat outside the operating room waiting for good news, her eyes and heart filled with triumph. 

As long as Ellinor’s child no longer existed, she could no longer pose a threat to her!

Ellinor was lying on the bed in the operating room, the anesthesiologist had prepared the dose of the drug, ready to inject…
