The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 743

Chapter 743

Ida shot him a cold look, "Ellinor's the one roasting you; don't drag me into this.’

Ellinor was done arguing with them. She checked her watch and saw that there was an hour left before clocking out.

She'd just make it to the Blanchet Corporation by quitting time if she took a cab.

She put down her coffee and got up from her office chair, "You guys, carry on with your stuff; I'm heading out.’

Chase asked, “Where are you off to, Ellinor? Aren't you eating with us?"

"I'm going to pick up Theo from the Blanchet Corporation.”

Without turning her head, Ellinor waved her hand and walked out of the CEO's office.

Chase shook his head helplessly as he watched the door close, "Ah... that lovey-dovey atmosphere!”

"Sure, just a moment?

When the waiter brought the water, Ellinor looked at Belinda with a steady gaze, "So your car broke down, you couldn't get a cab, and I took a taxi. You should've lost me by then.

How'd you find me?"

"Well... I...’ Belinda looked guilty. She sipped the ice water to ease her embarrassment.

Ellinor eyed her sharply, "You weren't trying to catch up with me; you were tailing me.’

Belinda couldn't come up with a good excuse. She blurted out the truth, “Alright! I admit, at first I was trying to tail you.

I lost track of you when my car broke down, but then I realized I was near the Blanchet Corporation. So, I went there to find Theo, but instead, I found you in this coffee shop’
