Stephen had once deleted all of Ophelia's contact information right in front of me. I had no idea when he and Ophelia had started speaking again. Looking at the spread of food before me, I felt a wave of nausea, utterly losing my appetite.

Just as I was about to clean up, my mom called.

"Rosalie, your dad fell!"

"Mom, don't panic. I'm coming right now!"

I immediately called 911 and rushed to my parents' home. My dad had already lost consciousness, but the ambulance was still nowhere in sight. My mom was in tears beside me, and while trying to comfort her, I dialed Stephen's number.

"Sorry, the number you're calling is currently unavailable..." I called repeatedly, but each time, there was no answer. Panic set in as I desperately scrolled and dialed again.

"Hello?"

"Stephen, my dad fell! Please, come help him!"

"I'll be right there!"
