Looking at her devastated expression, the bartender asked, "Did you get hurt by a man?"

Looking at her flushed cheeks, Simon patiently replied, "I'm your boss."

"My boss… What's that? Is it edible? Wait, I have to buy strawberry shortcake home for my son. He likes that…"

At the mention of her son, Simon became even angrier and chastised, "You still remember Aiden, huh? You know he's waiting for you at home, yet you came to the bar to get drunk. Amanda, how did you end up like this? What has got you so worked up?"

Simon wanted to coax out the truth while she was drunk, but all he heard was her even breathing. She had fallen asleep…
