Great, she took the bait. 

Amanda’s eyes darted around. “Is there anyone that Symeon is afraid of? Whom does he fear the most?” 

“The person he fears the most… For a moment, Elizabeth couldn’t think of anyone that fitted the criteria. He was the head of the Lawrence Family and the most powerful person there. after all, so who could he possibly fear?

Elizabeth suddenly had a glimmer in her eyes. “I know. He fears his father. Well, it’s not exactly fear, but more like respect. He listens to his father’s words and follows them as if they 

are orders.” 

“Alright then, find his father and tell him that you’re unhappy because of my presence and that you want me to leave. His father will put pressure on Symeon, and we won’t have to worry about the rest.” 

Elizabeth nodded and turned away but turned back to Amanda as if remembering something. “I want to ask you a question.” 

“Go ahead.” 

“Do you really have no feelings for Symeon at all?” Elizabeth couldn’t believe it. How could a woman not be moved by a man as outstanding and handsome as Symeon? And why did she secretly have a child? 

In order to allow Aiden to stay here safely for a while, Amanda could only reluctantly answer, “I’m tired. He doesn’t care about me at all. He only wanted a child when he found me and now, I can’t compete with Aiden, so I want to leave and live my own life.” 

This explanation was enough to convince Elizabeth. After all, women were like this. When they couldn’t see a future or hope, they would naturally retreat. 

Meanwhile, Symeon had finally woken up and, after getting ready, changed into a suit. 

He was preparing to go to the company when the butler followed after him. “Master, Miss Elizabeth visited this morning, but she went directly to see Miss Bailey.” 

Symeon stopped in his tracks and turned to the butler. “She went to find Amanda? Why?”

The butler shook his head, indicating his ignorance. He didn’t dare mention that he discovered Amanda had escaped from her room though, especially the fact that he had given Amanda Elizabeth’s contact information. He thought he was the only one who knew about Amanda’s escape and wanted to keep it a secret. 

Symeon had originally planned to go to his company but then decided to go to Villa No. 4 since he wanted to see Amanda. Her attitude had changed too quickly, making him feel like this woman was playing tricks. 

He arrived at her room and after the butler opened the door, he walked in. It was quiet, and she was lying asleep on the bed, looking exhausted. He stood in front of the bed, staring at her for a long time. 

As if feeling uncomfortable being stared at, she suddenly rose from her sleep and screamed, “Oh!” 

She gasped for breath and regained her senses after seeing Symeon. Sitting up, she couldn’t help but scold, “Are you crazy? Do you know how terrifying it is to startle someone like that?” 

“When I woke up from my sleep and saw you, my reaction wasn’t as exaggerated.” He chuckled lightly. 

“Did you come here just to scare me?” 

Symeon replied, “Of course not. I want to ask why Elizabeth came to find.
