The Lawyer’s Romance in Law novel Chapter 501

Chapter 501 I Don’t Need You To Teach Me How To Do Things!

After more than ten hours of flying, the plane finally landed.

Amanda could clearly see how exhausted Elias was from his haggard expression.

She couldn’t imagine how he endured these ten-plus hours in such a state. Every time there was turbulence, he appeared to be in excruciating pain.

She wanted to share some of his pain but found herself unable to do anything. She could. only watch him suffer.

Both of them felt a renewed sense of life when they stepped off the plane.

As Elias took a few steps forward, he seemed to struggle to balance himself and leaned. against the corridor wall.

Amanda immediately went up to support his arm and asked, “Are you okay? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Do you have a headache, or do you feel dizzy?”

He straightened his body and withdrew his arm. “I’m fine, let’s go. They’re waiting.”

She looked at his back, wanting to say something but hesitating. In fact, what she wanted to say was that since they had already arrived, there was no rush. They could rest for the night. and hit the road tomorrow.

However, obviously, he wouldn’t listen to her.

Leaving with no choice, she followed him out of the airport, where a car was waiting for them. The bodyguards were already opening the car door.

After Amanda and Elias got into the car, the bodyguard in the driver’s seat said, “Mr. Winters, we have everything prepared. Are we going to Lawrence Estate now?”

“Yes.”

Amanda looked at Elias and said, “Don’t you need a rest? Your complexion doesn’t look good.”

I’m fine.”

She couldn’t say anything more. She could only let the bodyguard drive them toward Lawrence Estate

To be honest, she was very excited because she would soon be able to see Aiden She hadn’t

seen him for almost two months. She wondered if the little boy had grown taller.

At the same time, Symeon was having a video conference in his study at Lawrence Estate.

When he heard a knock on the door from the butler, he quickly ended the meeting and turned off the computer. “Come in.”

The door was slowly opened, and the butler walked in with a man. “Master, this is the gardener you were looking for.”

Symeon looked behind the butler and saw a young man wearing a hat. He couldn’t see his face clearly, but he felt a strange familiarity.

“Alright, you may leave. I’ll talk to him,” Symeon ordered.

The butler left the study quietly and closed the door.

Symeon looked at the man in front of him and commanded, “Take off your hat.”

Yacob, who hung his head low, suddenly smiled and took off his hat. He looked right at Symeon.

Symeon carefully observed Yacob and realized why he felt so familiar. Wasn’t this the man who broke into the mansion to save Amanda? So, he works for Elias?

“It’s you! You work for Elias!” Symeon sprang up from his seat in surprise.

Yacob smiled. “Yes, it’s me. I wonder why you want to see me. Did I disappoint you as a gardener?”

“You’ve been lurking here just to accompany Aiden?”

Yacob retorted, “No, not to accompany him, but to protect him. I don’t trust your people.”

Symeon was stunned, but then he laughed. “Elias must be very touched to have such a good bodyguard like you.”

“I don’t know about that. I just want to do my job.”

“How dare you appear in front of me like this? Now that I’ve found you. do you think I’ll let you be around Aiden?” Symeon was curious why Yacob seemed so calm and composed.

Yacob smiled and remained silent because Elias would arrive soon, after which he would be able to go home.

24

There was nothing else to care about.

Just as Symeon was about to speak, the butler knocked on the door again.

“My master, there’s an urgent matter you need to know.”

Symeon furrowed his brows. “Come in.”

The butler hurriedly entered the room. He glanced at Yacob and walked to Symeon’s side, whispering something.

Symeon’s face fell as he looked at Yacob, who remained calm. He finally understood why Yacob was so composed.

It turned out that Elias had come to New Montana.

“My master, what should we do now?” the butler asked.

“Now that he’s here, there’s no reason to keep him out. Let him in, and I’ll come shortly.”

The butler nodded and left the study.
