The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family novel Chapter 1830

Rescuing the duo was purely coincidental. 3

The only clue they had of him was that he was an Oskian.

There was nothing else they knew about him.

Sheldon initially wanted Rosalie to look into this mysterious man's background. 3

But now that the police force, ministry of foreign affairs, and the Japanese department of homeland security were going all out to capture his men, he could only give up on that idea.

He needed to send Rosalie back to their country first t o prevent the Japanese government from laying hand on her. 1

If they were to be captured by the Japanese government, it would be challenging to escape capital punishment, considering how severe the incident was. Even if they were able to escape the death sentence, they would still be thrown into jail for the rest of their lives! 3

Sheldon's only option was to discard that thought for now wholly.

Now that Ito Yahiko brought up this person again, Sheldon deliberately asked, "Mr. Ito, that mysterious person who was said to protect your daughter, you

should know him, right?”

Yahiko shook his head and said regretfully, "I really wish I knew him, but unfortunately, that person is way too mysterious. I asked my daughter, but she has no idea as well. Otherwise, I would've wanted to take him in for my own use. With such a powerful person b y my side, I wouldn’t have to worry about safety issues anymore." i

Sheldon stared at Yahiko for a moment, but Yahiko doesn't seem to be lying through his observation. 2

Yahiko nodded as he listened before replying, "Ito family has always wanted to cooperate with Schulz family on this business venture. I, too, had spoken to m y children about it two days ago."

When Sheldon heard this, he raised his eyebrows with happiness as he thought to himself: It seems that the deal to cooperate with Ito family can finally be sealed. 3

Sheldon was already celebrating in his mind, but Ito Yahiko already had plans and was waiting for the right moment to strike. 3

Yahiko quickly changed the conversation and said apologetically. "Mr. Schulz, as you can see with my current condition, the doctors said that I have to stay i n the hospital for at least half a month for observation." 6

"Moreover, even if I were to be discharged, I still have t 0 recuperate at home for a few months. As such, I'm temporarily unable to do anything that takes up too much energy, including business operations." 6

"Hence, whether or not this cooperation can be carried out, it might take some time for me to give you a definite answer..."
