"Ahh!" Claire exclaimed and realized that Charlie had just given her a sudden attack. She quickly pretended t o be frightened and said, "Ah! I am so kind to feed the little puppy, but I got bitten instead!"

Charlie opened his mouth. As he ate the strawberry, h e mumbled, "If I am the little puppy, what are you?"

Claire gave a lighthearted hum and answered, "Since I am the one who fed the little puppy, surely I am the little puppy's owner!"

Charlie laughed, "If I am the little puppy, then you are the bone which I hold in my mouth."

Claire laughed, "That’s so 'nice' of you to describe me a s a bone..."

Charlie replied seriously, "Don't you know that bones are most protected by little puppies? Even if the sky drops, the little puppy would not let go. If anyone dares to snatch the bone, the little puppy will go all out to defend it!" 3

Seeing Charlie's serious expression, Claire was touched. She said shyly, "If that is the case, I will forcefully be the bone for you to hold onto, then!"

Charlie laughed and said, "Don’t just talk, eat some fruits."

Claire nodded and picked up two strawberries. She first stuffed one into Charlie's mouth, then put the second one into her mouth.

Looking at her computer screen, Charlie realized that there was a gigantic design drawing prototype on the designing software. He couldn't resist asking, "Darling, are you the only one

Claire answered, "Not really. I am now making a draft because, for the proposal, a very detailed design is not needed. The main purpose is to present a rough idea.”

Charlie understood Claire's character well. She did not really care about money and had not much demand for her basic necessities. For her to work so hard to earn money was purely for the sake of this family.
