Porter worked efficiently, and quickly got back to Charlie with the results.
"Mr. Wade, there's a family of Oskians with the name Jane in France. However, the family's company is relatively average, with a total net worth of roughly ten billion dollars euros at most."
"Their net worth was only ten billion dollars euros at most?" Charlie was shocked. “Did you miss any major projects?"
Porter explained, "Mr. Wade, I can't be sure if I've missed anything out. However, it won’t be far different from their actual worth.”
Porter's answer confused Charlie even further.
The Jane family’s net worth was only around ten billion dollars euros or so. The amount was incomparable to the Moore family's wealth.
Charlie found the matter even more strange. At last, h e decided to call Graham.
Once the call connected, Graham’s surprised voice rang in his ears. "Master Wade, why did you call?"
Charlie asked curiously, "Mr. Quinton, did you sell your Sonfo Valley villa?"
Graham was startled. He asked in surprise, "Master Wade, how did you know? Did Aurora tell you? That
brat! She kept asking me to keep it a secret, but I never thought she'd tell you instead!"
Charlie laughed. "Aurora didn't tell me anything at all. The lady who bought your villa happened to be my father-in-law's acquaintance."
Graham explained, "Bowthon is the city with the largest medicinal ingredient trading center and production base. As it's just a small city, it isn't that well-known."
Charlie asked again, "Are you investing in the medicinal ingredients there?"
"Correct," Graham affirmed. "I'll be frank with you, Master Wade. Now that I’m handling more and more medicinal ingredients, I plan to expand my business upstream.”
Graham paused a little before continuing, "Recently, I purchased a relatively large medicine production base in Bowthon. After that, I injected a huge sum of capital for a planned expansion. To be honest, I'm taking a big risk and basically dried up most of my liquid funds..."
"I didn't expect to find a Thompson First unit for sale a t such a timing. I had to sell my Sonfo Valley villa because of my tight cash flow. Even if I keep it, that villa will most likely be vacant in the future."
Charlie then said, "You could've told me if you didn't have enough funds. I'm always willing to help. Do you still have any cash flow issues? If you do, I'll lend you a hand."
