Charlie only said that as a polite exchange. In truth, he wasn’t embarrassed at all.

You're a great Feng Shui master. How can I not pay for your services? If I set a precedent, it may affect your further business. I’ll feel bad about that."

Kathleen then added, "You've mentioned it yourself as well. Friends should treat each other the way they would like to be treated themselves. I want to be

friends with a master like you, Mr. Wade."

Charlie chuckled. "You have a point. In that case, I won't worry about it anymore."

As he said that, he quickly changed his tune, "By the way, I hope Ms. Jane will allow me to treat you to dinner. Will it be convenient for you, Ms. Jane?"

Kathleen was elated to hear his invitation. She replied with little hesitation, "It’s my pleasure to have dinner with you. Anytime is fine with me."

Charlie decided happily, "Alright, then. Let's meet tonight. I'll message you once I’ve decided on a location."

Kathleen accepted his invitation cheerily. "Okay! I'll be waiting for your message."

Charlie said, "See you tonight.”
