Dorothy's eyes lit up as soon as Quinn mentioned Charlie.
She agreed and blurted out, "That’s right! Go and get Charlie to help! If the Fox family dares to hurt you, tell Charlie to punch the sh*t out of him!"
Dorothy’s words embarrassed Quinn, and she said awkwardly, "Can you be a little more ladylike?"
Dorothy's lips twitched. "I’m usually very ladylike until someone messes with us. When I'm angry, I don’t care about being ladylike anymore. If Charlie can kick Xavion to the ground, I'll make sure to join in and kick him too!"
Quinn shook her head helplessly. "I really can't do anything about you."
Then, she looked at the time and said," Let's go to the dance studio to rehearse first."
Dorothy hurriedly asked, "Wait, what should we do about the Fox family? If this doesn't work out, the show will be canceled..."
"It'll be fine.” Quinn waved her hand and said, "The Fox family's goal is to meet me. They won't seriously cancel the concert.
They'll contact you soon."
Quinn had indeed guessed it right.
Sure enough, Dorothy received a call from Xavion before she had even left the hotel.
Over the call, Xavion asked cheerily, "I wanted to invite Miss Golding for a meal. Do you think Miss Golding has time now?"
Xavion said with a smile, "It's not impossible to hold it as scheduled, but we have invested a lot of manpower and resources for the upgrade. Moreover, many performances were postponed too. We’ve paid a lot of compensation for the affected performances, so if Miss Golding wants to perform as scheduled, she might as well take some time to have a meal together. We can sit down and have a good chat."
Dorothy sneered, "I don't have the authority to decide about that. I'll have to ask Miss Golding first and get back to you later."
"Sure," Xavion said, "I look forward to your reply.”
Dorothy hung up and asked Quinn, "Quinn, what do we do? What do I tell him?"
Quinn said, "Charlie will arrive in New
York soon. Let’s go rehearse first. I'll call Charlie in the afternoon and ask him about it."
