Jarvis was surprised to find out that Cason had lost all his power. Cason had turned into an ordinary person without any cultivation skills whatsoever. Shocked, Jarvis blurted out, "Cason, what happened to you?!”
Because Cason was giving Charlie full attention, he did not see anyone else. When he heard Jarvis's voice, he finally realized that Jarvis had finally returned after a long time. He immediately sobbed, looking like a pitiful and wronged child.
"Jarvis... You’re finally back..."
Jarvis hurriedly stepped forward and supported Cason. He asked in a sorrowful tone, "Cason, what happened to your power?!”
Cason was filled with so much regret.
Remorseful, he wept bitterly, "Jarvis, I lost my power early this afternoon. I was blind and acted rudely to Mr. Wade when he came for lunch today. In retaliation, Mr. Wade destroyed my power and ordered me to kneel in the dining room until this very moment..."
A thought occurred to him and he muttered, "Jarvis, Mr. Wade said someone would come and teach me a lesson later. The person he meant was probably you...'
Jarvis paled in shock.
He knew Charlie was both strong and unpredictable. However, he did not expect Charlie to destroy all of Cason's cultivation
What was more unbelievable was that
Cason's meridian still appeared well. There was no sign of broken meridians, which meant that Cason's cultivation had not been destroyed by a violent method.
This alone made Jarvis’s face twitch.
It wasn't hard to violently destroy someone's cultivation. If one was stronger than the other, he could destroy the weaker one's meridian by force after snatching victory in their battle.
It was equivalent to breaking a person's tendons and hamstrings. Doing so would be simple with the use of force.
With this in mind, he hurriedly repented with remorse, "Jarvis, I'm sorry... I was wrong! I was blind...! I offended Mr. Wade, so please punish me..."
Jarvis slapped Cason again and reprimanded coldly, "Of course I'll punish you! Do you expect Mr. Wade to do that?"
As he said that, he stole a quiet glance at Charlie. Seeing Charlie's cold expression, he had no choice but to bite the bullet. He rushed forward and kicked Cason, sending Carson to the floor with a painful fall.
Jarvis roared, "I'll do a favor for Mr. Wade and teach you a good lesson! You're a blind fool!"
Then, he grabbed Cason and kept slapping Cason until the latter's face was full of bruises. Sounds of hard slaps resounded in the room, painful and agonizing.
Cason dared not get angry from the slaps to his face. Instead, he choked and sobbed with a humble expression, "Jarvis, you're right. I was wrong. I was blind, and I've made an awful mistake. It’s all my fault for getting into this. I’m a fool... I deserve this !"
Charlie could tell that the two were just performing to gain his pardon. He stopped them and snarled coldly, "Enough! You two can stop acting! Jarvis, you're a seven-star martial artist. You slapped a defenseless person so many times, but he didn't even drop a tooth. Do you think I'm an idiot? Do you think I'll fall for this?”
