The wedding came to an end with Sheldon kissing his bride on the stage.
Charlie was seated at the same table as the elders of the two families and Eliam. In addition to serving tea to the two seniors during the wedding ceremony, the first person that the newlyweds toasted to after starting the toasting session was Charlie.
During the toast, the two brought their best man and maid of honor with them with a humble and grateful attitude.
Sheldon raised his glass to Charlie, bowed slightly, and said respectfully, “Mr. Wade, you’re our great benefactor, and I have so many things to say to you, but I don’t know where to start. Therefore, let me offer this toast to you!”
Charlie smiled faintly, spoke up, and said, “Mr. Sheldon, you’re a free man from now on, and I’ll no longer interfere in any way no matter where you want to go or what you want to do.”
Sheldon said gratefully, “Thank you for being so open-minded, Mr. Wade. I’ve decided to settle down in Aurous Hill with Yashita!”
Charlie nodded and said, “Aurous Hill is a good place. You will be closer to Rosalie and Sophie if you settle down here, and Madam Yashita will also be closer to Lord Harker. You can always contact them if you need anything in Aurous Hill. You can also contact me or Mr. Isaac Cameron if you need help.”
Sheldon had a grateful expression as he said, “Thank you for your magnanimity, Mr. Wade!”
Charlie smiled, picked up the wine glass, and drank it all in one go.
Yashita then personally filled up the glass for Charlie and raised the glass at him as she said with immense gratitude, “Mr. Wade, I’m not an eloquent person, and I don’t know what to say. The Harker family will always remember your kindness and benevolence, and we will always obey all of your instructions!”
Charlie smiled lightly and said seriously, “Aunt Yashita, you can entrust the Harker family’s affairs to Rosalie in the future and focus on spending your life with Mr. Sheldon in peace of mind.”
