The former was naturally the better choice out of the two options. After all, he would only be able to find out the identity of the person who had rescued Vera by finding out the whereabouts of the Armed Calvary Guards.
As for the latter, he could only hope that there were some unseen problems within the Armed Calvary Guards themselves. Otherwise, it would basically be a waste of time for him to investigate in this direction.
Therefore, Brody decided to choose the former option and searched for several days in Northern Europe. He searched all the way to Oslo City without having discovered any clues.
He was a little depressed, so he decided to have a drink at a bar in Oslo City. However, just as he was feeling a little inebriated, he suddenly received a message from a virtual number. The message only contained a few words: Meeting in half an hour.
Brody put his cell phone away helplessly, took out two bills, and put them under his glass before walking out of the bar. He returned to the hotel where he was staying and washed up before turning on a special software on his cell phone on time.
After turning on the software, he entered his password first before performing facial and voice recognition. After passing all of the verifications, the system automatically added his account to an online conference room.
There were a total of five picture frames that were the size of a matchbox on his cell phone screen, one of which was in the middle, with the remaining four distributed at the four corners of the screen of the cell phone.
However, three of the five picture frames were still black, indicating that the people had not connected to the system yet. Only two people were connected, namely, Brody, who appeared in the upper right corner of the screen, and an old man with a white beard who was in the upper left corner of the screen.
When Brody saw the old man with the white beard, he lowered his head respectfully and asked with a smile, “Mr. Chardon, I wonder where you are now?”
Mr. Chardon casually replied, “Eastcliff.”
Brody hurriedly asked, “Have you found any clues about Vera Lavor yet?”
Mr. Chardon shook his head and did not say much as he replied, “No.”
