The Man's Decree novel Chapter 1376

Chapter 1376 Nothing

“Mr. Flaxseed!” Jared hurried forward to help him up. “T-This restrictive energy is too powerful,” Flaxseed commented as his expression turned grim. “Get some rest. I’ll walk up the stairs,” Jared offered.

Before he could leave, Flaxseed stopped him hastily and stuck a charm on his body. “Be careful. The further you go, the stronger the restrictive energy is. If you can’t take it any longer, come down. No matter how valuable the treasure is, it’s more important to stay alive,” Flaxseed reminded him.

Jared put on a solemn expression and nodded gravely. He took a deep breath before placing his foot on the first step.

At once, his body began glowing, signaling that his Golem Body had taken effect to defend him against the horrifying power.

As Jared’s strength increased, his Golem Body would glow brighter.

Flaxseed grew increasingly nervous as he stared at Jared—he had no idea whether the latter was strong enough to climb to the top of the stairs.

With the help of the charm stuck to his body and the defense of Golem Body, Jared was able to walk in a swift manner without any restrictions.

He soon picked up speed as though the restriction was useless against him.

“Oh, what a talented man!” Flaxseed sighed as he stared at Jared’s back.

Halfway up the stairs, Jared slowed down without warning.

His legs began trembling, and cold sweat formed on his brows. He seemed to have difficulty walking forward.

Boom!

Suddenly, the charm on Jared’s body erupted into flames and was soon burned to ashes.

Clenching his jaw, Jared continued going up the stairs.

He soon reached the seventieth step.

By then, Jared was already bowing. Every step he took left a deep imprint on the stairs.

Jared felt as if a mountain was pinning him down, and he was suffocating.

Even so, he did not stop as he gritted his teeth and persisted.

When Jared arrived at the ninetieth step, his Golem Body exploded into pieces and disappeared. His muscles were exposed to the air, bearing the surmounting pressure.
