The Man's Decree novel Chapter 1879

Chapter 1879 Rise To Fame

At his father's appearance, Kayson joyfully bragged, “Dad, you said Jared was powerful, didn't you? So what if he's powerful? I still caught him in the end! I want the entire martial arts world to know that I captured Jared Chance.”

Kayson held his head high as he showed off triumphantly to his father.

Shock crossed Austin's face. “What did you say?”

“I said I captured Jared Chance,” Kayson repeated.

“How is that possible? That guy isn't even scared of the Warriors Alliance. Numerous elites from Warriors Alliance have died at his hands. How did you catch him?”

Austin was doubtful of his son's claim. After all, he knew Kayson's capabilities better than anyone.

“Dad, how can you not believe me? I used the Soul Binding Chains to catch him,” Kayson explained.

Anger surged within Austin. “F*ck! You b*stard! Are you trying to piss me to death? How could you use the Soul Binding Chains for such a reason?”

“Dad, I've already used it, and I caught Jared. The Zagorski family name shall rise to fame in the martial arts world. By then, we won't have to stay cooped up in this tiny city anymore. We can develop our family business in bigger cities,” Kayson said indifferently.

“You... You...” Austin's entire body was trembling from anger. “Where is Jared now?”

“He's in the front yard. I'll take you to him. You'll see. He's just human, too.”

Kayson led Austin to the front yard.

A conflicting look crossed Austin's face when he saw Jared tied to a large pillar in the Zagorski family's front yard by the Soul Binding Chains.

After a moment of hesitation, Austin hurried over to Jared. “Mr. Chance, I'm so sorry. My son was a fool to offend you.”

“You know me?” Jared was surprised by Austin's courteousness since he wasn't acquainted with the Zagorski family.

“No one in the martial arts world hasn't heard of your name. You're the finest among the youth of the martial arts world, Mr. Chance. May I know the reason you traveled all the way here to Norham, Mr. Chance?”

Austin wanted to know if Jared's arrival had anything to do with what was about to happen in Norham.

“A friend brought me here for fun,” Jared answered casually.

Naturally, he couldn't reveal his collaboration with the Demon Sect to Austin.

“Are you just here to sightsee, Mr. Chance?”

Austin had doubts about Jared's words.

Taking note of Austin's reaction, Jared felt there was more to it than met the eye, so he questioned, “Why do you think I'm here in Norham then, Mr. Zagorski?”

Stumped by Jared's question, Austin smiled sheepishly and said ingratiatingly, “I suppose you're here for recreation, too. However, with your fame and stature in the martial arts world, the Zagorski family should welcome you warmly for your arrival in Norham.”

When Austin attempted to untie Jared, Kayson ran up to stop him. “Dad, are you crazy? It took me so much effort to capture him!”

Slap!

Austin raised his hand and gave Kayson a slap across the cheek. “You b*stard! I'm now the Zagorski family matriarch! Are you intending to rebel against me right now?”

Kayson's temper flared. Biting the bullet, he said stubbornly, “Dad, I won't let you release him no matter what. Kill me if you want, but I can't take this lying down.”

Kayson was threatening Austin, for he knew Austin wouldn't kill him since he was his only son.

“You!”

Austin's face flushed in anger when he was threatened by his own son.
