The Man's Decree novel Chapter 1963

Chapter 1963 Empty

Even so, they were no match for their opponent. Judging by the turn of events, those four men in black-gold robes were undoubtedly Martial Arts Saints.

Lying on the ground, Jose and the others gazed at the four men in terror. The might of four Martial Arts Saints is beyond what we can handle!

Witnessing that scene, members of the other families all rushed to Skylar's side, unconsciously forming a new alliance.

However, they had no idea that Skylar's intervention was not to defend or help them but to take their lives.

Skylar looked at Jose and asked with a sneer, “Can everyone go in now?”

Jose didn't reply. Instead, he merely lowered his head. In the face of absolute power, he had no choice but to submit.

Subsequently, Skylar shouted, “All right. Everyone can now enter in an orderly manner!”

Hearing that, the crowd swarmed into the ancient ruins, scrambling and even trampling over each other.

Skylar curled the corner of his lips into a smirk as he watched the scene before him.

“These people aren't from ordinary martial arts families. They are demonic cultivators...” Jessica uttered with an ashen face while gazing at the four men in black-gold robes.

Although they had changed their outfits, Jessica came to that revelation when they unleashed their skills earlier.

After all, Demon Sect and Evil Heart Sect were of the same lineage. Hence, she could sense those four men's auras.

Flaxseed, Fernando, and the others were shocked when they heard Jessica's words.

In contrast, Jared chimed in calmly, “I know. They are Jadeborough's Warriors Alliance's Black Gold Robe warriors, and that man clad in black and gold is Skylar.”

“They are people from Warriors Alliance?”

Flaxseed, Fernando, and the rest of the group were astounded.

They never expected people from Warriors Alliance to show up, let alone four Martial Arts Saints.

“Why would members of the Warriors Alliance help these people from the prestigious families? Don't they want to monopolize the ancient ruins and occupy Encanta Island?” Flaxseed asked, looking puzzled.

He couldn't understand why Skylar was doing that.

Jared frowned slightly. He was also unable to figure out Skylar's true intentions.

“We must be more careful. This sudden materialization of the ancient ruins seems more like a conspiracy,” Jared reminded everyone.

Claus wore a solemn expression at that moment. The demonic cultivators' appearance was beyond his anticipation.

“Mr. Lassen, what should we do now? Should we still go in?” one of Claus' subordinates asked.

“Of course we'll go in. We should enter and take a look since we're here. Nevertheless, don't reveal your abilities unless absolutely necessary. We'll just trail behind the group and observe.”

With that, Claus led his men into the ancient ruins.

When he walked past Jared, he couldn't help but glance at the latter. Jared did the same. Their eyes met for a moment, but they swiftly averted their gazes.

Jared waited until everyone entered the ancient ruins before leading his subordinates inside. The interior of the ancient ruins didn't feel crowded even after accommodating nearly one thousand people. That showed the vastness of the area.

Aside from a stone-altar-like structure in the center, nothing else was to be seen in the empty ancient ruins.

Everyone was dumbfounded when taking in that scene.

They couldn't believe the ancient ruins, which were protected by such a powerful arcane array, were empty. How is this possible?

Unconvinced, many people began knocking on the stone walls, but there were no hidden mechanisms anywhere. Some even scoured the stone altar, but all they discovered was a pile of rocks.

“Jose, what's going on here?” Marcelo asked Jose.

They expended so much effort and lost so many lives, only to enter and find the ancient ruins empty.

Jose knitted his brows and was also nonplussed.

“Have everyone search every corner carefully. I don't believe this place is empty. There must be some hidden mechanisms,” Jose uttered.

Soon, Marcelo led his men to comb the area inch by inch.
