Chapter 2640 The Seal

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Deafening explosions reverberated in the arena.

Bilius persisted in brandishing his Octo Ruler, enveloping the entire arena in a dense shroud of darkness. The spectators could no longer discern the unfolding spectacle clearly, as the thick fog obscured their view.

On the other hand, Ebenez and Ghaylen, sitting on the higher platform beside the arena, could still witness the intense battle between Jared and Bilius.

Jared's figure nimbly weaved and danced through the dark mist, effortlessly evading Bilius' attacks. Surprisingly, he did not even need to wield his Dragonslayer Sword to defend himself at all.

In the blink of an eye, Bilius launched hundreds of strikes, yet not a single one managed to hit Jared.

Bilius himself started to pant from exhaustion, his brows furrowing in frustration.

He had not expected Jared to possess such remarkable agility in addition to his impressive physical prowess.

“If you surrender now, I might spare your life. Just crawl between my legs, and you'll be free to go,” Jared sneered, shooting daggers at Bilius. “But once I lose interest in playing this game, walking out of this arena alive won't be an option for you anymore.”

“Don't you dare act arrogant before me!” Bilius roared angrily, swinging his Octo Ruler at Jared once more.

However, Jared was still able to dodge all his attacks effortlessly.

“Mr. Chance truly has some skills. Bilius can't even get close to him,” Zebediah exclaimed in amazement upon witnessing their exchange in the arena.

Ghaylen hummed in response, nodding in acknowledgment. “It looks like we've underestimated him.”

Ebenez, sitting beside him, snorted in contempt. “He's just banking on his agility. Claiming he could defeat Bilius within ten minutes, yet with all this dodging, he won't even manage it in an hour. Ghaylen, when the ten minutes are up, it'll be your duty to announce the results.”

Upon hearing Ebenez's words, Zebediah and Ghaylen fell silent. They could not help but agree with his assessment.
