The Man's Decree novel Chapter 3185

Quinley and the others were deeply anxious as they watched Jared approach Norwal City’s army beyond the wall.

Hastily, Cloud reassured the women, “No need to worry about Mr. Chance, Ms. Warwick, Ms. Tall. Nothing will happen to him. Last night, he installed an arcane array outside. Those people can’t hurt Mr. Chance even if they try.”

Upon hearing that, the women were relieved. “Ivasha, I want you to contact all the guards. Tell them to be on alert and be prepared to escort Mr. Chance back at any moment,” ordered Yuven.

Ivasha nodded before leaving to make preparations. Meanwhile, Jared gradually arrived before Lucian with Xandros in his grip. Both were facing each other with dozens of meters between them. Lucian was livid the moment he noticed the injuries and bloodstains on his son.

Then, he glared intensely at Jared. It was his first time meeting the latter. I’m surprised. Even though he seems to be my son’s age, he managed to defeat Mr. Quayle!

“So, you’re Jared Chance?” questioned Lucian coldly. Wordlessly, Jared nodded. Gritting his teeth, Lucian stifled his fury and questioned, “You want to exchange my son for the Divine Bow, yet you inflicted so much damage on him. Don’t you think you’re crossing a line?”

“Crossing a line?” Jared grinned. “I’m only ransoming your son’s life for the Divine Bow. I didn’t say anything about returning him to you unharmed. In any case, your son’s here now, so let’s cut to the chase. Are you going to fulfill my demand or not? If not, I’ll kill him right here and now.”

“You dare?” Lucian’s eyes widened in rage. No one has ever dared to threaten me before! I’m going to- Disdainfully, Jared slapped Xandros’ cheek. Xandros howled in pain from the powerful slap.

“Stop it! How dare you hurt my son in front of me! Do you want to die that badly? You’re courting death right now, you know that?” roared Lucian as aura exploded from his body.

“Still threatening me, eh? Fine.” Jared rolled his eyes and slapped Xandros a few more times.

Xandros’ cheeks swelled as he cried for his father. “Save me, Dad! Please don’t provoke him anymore! I’m going to die at this rate…”
