Jared gave Dimas a look of disdain, saying, “Why is a nobody like you interrupting our conversation? It’s true that I’m no match for him, but I can still kill you with a snap of my fingers.”
“You…”
The look in Jared’s eyes struck fear into Dimas, causing him to back away and hide behind Pablo.
Dimas did not doubt what Jared said. If the latter endeavored to kill him, even Pablo couldn’t save him.
As a result, Dimas no longer had the guts to provoke Jared any further.
Meanwhile, after watching the scene before him unfold, Cameron asked anxiously, “Elder Nesser, should we lend Mr. Chance a hand?”
“There’s no need to…” Skylar shook his head.
“But Elder Nesser, Mr. Chance has helped the Nesser family back in the far north. We can’t just stand by and watch, can we?” Cameron remonstrated.
If he hadn’t worked together with Jared back then, he would have been killed by the Five Slayers from Demon Seal Alliance.
“Don’t worry, Jared won’t die that easily,” Skylar commented nonchalantly, his gaze fixed on Jared. The remark surprised Cameron, and he gave Skylar a suspicious look. He couldn’t understand how Skylar knew that Jared would survive.
It sounds as if he knows Jared very well.
“Have you come to your senses, young man? Are you going to do as I say, or do I have to beat you into submission?” Pablo asked Jared.
“I have never submitted to anyone before. My stance remains the same even in the face of an immortal, let alone a lowly Eight Level Tribulator like you. Even if I can’t beat you, I’ll still make you suffer in whatever way I can!” Jared declared with a vicious look in his eyes.
“You’ve got guts, kid. In that case, show me what you’ve got,” Pablo sneered.
