The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 83

A wave of fragrance rushed toward me, enveloping my surroundings.

Blair gazed at me intently, asking softly, "When are you going to divorce Abigail?"

I looked at her in surprise, not expecting her to ask such a question.

Why was she losing sleep over someone else's problems?

I smiled lightly and asked earnestly, "Are you really that curious about my situation?"

Blair blinked, her gaze serious as she looked at me. "Of course. Are you willing to help me find the answers?"

Her reply made me laugh, and I couldn't help but shake my head. "There's really nothing to say about my situation. And besides, you could just look it up online, right?"

I used to be very resistant to saying such things. I hated bringing up this matter and didn't want people prying into my private life.

But ever since Joshua began to make a scene publicly, spreading various rumors about me, my life felt as if it had been torn open, shamelessly exposed to everyone's gaze.

They invaded my life without restraint, hurling insults and humiliation at me.

I had gradually grown accustomed to these things. To me, these matters no longer hurt.

My feelings for Abigail had been completely worn away by her torment.

Seeing me address the issue with such calmness, Blair looked a bit surprised.

Her gaze toward me softened with a hint of pity.

"Samuel, I'll say this again." Blair stepped closer to me, looking at me earnestly. "If you're willing, I can help you anytime."

I shook my head, directly rejecting her kindness. I know you mean well, but I don't need it. Thank you."

I then pushed open the door and walked into the banquet hall.

To my surprise, Rebecca was watching me by the dining table.

Rebecca asked with a smile, "Do you know each other?"
