Blair showed no sign of fear, even in the face of Abigail's harsh questioning.
Instead, she smiled back at Abigail and shrugged. "Well, since you've brought it up, let's see if he's willing to go with you."
After speaking, Blair glanced at me.
Although she said nothing, I could clearly sense her commanding me not to get out of the car.
I took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping out.
The moment I got out, I could distinctly feel Blair's gaze on me, as if she could almost kill me with it.
I shook my head, signaling to her not to interfere with my situation.
Once I was in Abigail's car, I noticed that Blair hadn't left. Instead, she was still closely following us.
Abigail's expression instantly darkened when she found out.
She asked with a cold expression, "Are you two close?"
I calmly shook my head. "That's none of your business, is it?"
As soon as I said this, I noticed a flicker of hurt on Abigail's face.
I looked at her calmly and asked, "Didn't you want to let me come alone? Why are you here now?"
I had no idea when Abigail had arrived.
Since she mentioned she was busy and told me to handle things by myself, I hadn't paid attention to whether she was around.
But judging by her attitude toward Blair, it seemed she might have overheard our conversation.
Abigail had a talent for finding trouble for me.
I didn't want to create more issues, so I figured it would be best to get her to leave quickly.
