“Tessa, you’re lucky enough that you were able to merge with a martial spirit on your first journey to the Martial Spirit Graveyard. Hence, you must work hard from now on. You can’t waste such a rare opportunity.” Harrison wore a serious look as he tried to encourage her daughter.

“Come on now. Why would I even lie to you? You know that you’re one of the few people that I can share my secrets with,” Rocky said with a faint smile.

“I just didn’t expect you to be so lucky.” Eventually, Ramon was convinced that Rocky should be telling the truth, although it was still a mystery to him how the young man did it. He speculated that there must be some more details that Rocky didn’t tell him.

Regardless of how he did it, now that Rocky had fused with a martial spirit, it was such a huge breakthrough. It was just normal for Ramon to be envious of him.

“Don’t worry. I will also find you a suitable martial spirit when I get the chance. I can promise you that,” Rocky said with a straight face. “Fine. I can help you. Just be sure to hold the end of your bargain,” Ramon said seriously. Although he didn’t like Rocky before, they got along these past several days and his impression of the young man had also changed a lot.
