"That's none of your business. Now, let me out!" Eunice replied.
Rocky nodded and brought Eunice out of his Magic Spiritual Space.
When Eunice came to her senses, she found that she was back where she had been taken from. Rocky had disappeared without a trace.
"The guy is fast!" she remarked with a smile. "But this is the first time I've come across such a person. He just let me have a martial spirit for myself so easily."
As for Rocky, he rushed back to the post house as fast as he could after leaving Eunice. Seeing that Rocky was back unharmed, Ramon was relieved.
"You two are so lucky to have kidnapped the leader of the Robber Regiment and then escape unscathed. But why didn't you bring her back here?" Tyson, asked in confusion after hearing Ramon's tale.
"Tyson, we don't know the ins and outs of the Robber Regiment yet. If we kidnap her, I'm afraid she will only cause more trouble. Worse still, they were following us the whole time, and would never have let us bring her here," Rocky explained.
"You're right. In any case, it's lucky you got back here safely," Tyson remarked in a grateful tone.
"But there is still one thing I can't figure out. How did the Robber Regiment know that we were going to investigate their base?" Ramon asked in confusion.
"Yes! It's confusing me too," Tyson echoed. However, there was something wrong with his expression that the others missed.
"Maybe we exposed some clues by accident." Rocky made up an excuse on purpose. However, he knew that things weren't that simple. He couldn't speak here since it would be difficult to tell Ramon because there was an outsider.
"Maybe." Ramon nodded.
"Captain, I think we'd better go back and report everything that's happened." Rocky winked at Ramon.
"Okay."
The duo bid Tyson goodbye and left the post house together.
Behind them, Tyson's expressions changed drastically and became suddenly fierce. "These guys are really lucky. They were able to escape. If the young master comes to know about, he's going to be furious. Fortunately, they never suspected it was me who tipped the Robber Regiment off about their arrival."
Once Rocky and Ramon were away from the post house, Ramon turned towards his companion and asked, "What did you mean by winking at me just now?"
"Truth be told, I have a grudge against Miguel as well. He might plan on killing two birds with one stone this time." Ramon looked rather calm at the prospect.
"Looks like we are really suitable to be friends." Rocky laughed.
Ramon rolled his eyes at the man.
Afterwards the two of them returned to the Sword Spirit Sect as soon as possible and reported everything to Harrison. Harrison was also shocked at the idea. He had not expected that this mission would get compromised, so he immediately ordered his men to investigate.
In fact, Miguel was the one who had bought off the people of the Grand Sky Sect and then brought the information to Harrison. So, he knew that he would naturally be suspected. Just as Rocky had expected, Miguel had found a scapegoat to take the responsibility of leaking the information to protect himself.
However, Rocky remained calm because he wanted to see what other tricks Miguel could pull.
After confirming the whereabouts of the stronghold of the Robber Regiment, Harrison asked the Sword Spirit Sect for permission. The next day, a team led by two elders of the Sword Spirit Sect, with more than ten warriors at the King Realm and a hundred disciples at the Spirit Realm rushed at the stronghold. However, they arrived to find an empty and deserted place. The robbers were long gone.
In any case, although they failed to wipe out the Robber Regiment, they had still given its members a head-on blow this time. This way, Rocky and Ramon made another important contribution to the Sword Spirit Sect.
