The Medallion novel Chapter 1551

Maxwell was touched by Rocky's words. He had never met anyone as kind as Rocky, especially after entering the army and being constantly bullied. He swore to himself that he would follow Rocky's lead in the future.

Then, Rocky took Maxwell out of the Magic Spiritual Space and returned to the locust tree.

"Remember, this secret stays between the two of us. Don't tell anyone, even those closest to you," Rocky reminded.

"Got it. I'll keep it a secret." Maxwell nodded.

Once Maxwell left, Rocky went back to his Magic Spiritual Space where he continued his experiments. He didn't return to his residence until the next morning.

When he arrived at his residence and was about to push the door open, Eunice opened it from the other side and came out.

"Where did you go last night? Why didn't you come back?" Eunice asked as she squinted.

"Didn't you say that I wasn't allowed to come back?" Rocky reminded her.

"I asked you not to return before midnight. I didn't ask you to stay out all night," Eunice corrected, glaring at him.

"Forget it. A man and a woman staying in a room alone would easily attract gossip anyway. Although there's no difference between men and women in the army, I should still be careful. I can rest in my Magic Spiritual Space from now on," Rocky suggested.

"If that's what you prefer." Eunice said nothing more.

At that moment, Bertram walked towards them.

"You two are up early!"

"Deputy Commander Fei." Rocky nodded.

"Our commander returned last night. He asked me to accompany you to meet him this morning. If you both are free now, please follow me," Bertram instructed them politely.

"Alright. Thank you."

Then, the two of them left with Bertram.

They soon arrived at a tent within the center of the Tiger Whisker Pass. When they were about to enter it, they heard a voice cry out. "Uncle, help me! That newcomer Basil broke my hand. The arrogant brat even went so far as to insult you."

Rocky sneered upon hearing the voice.

Eunice couldn't help but look at him. She immediately understood that he must've caused trouble again.

Rocky remained calm. He appeared to not be surprised at all.

"You two wait for me here. I'll go and inform our commander!" Bertram then went straight into the tent.

Apart from Tucker Wang who was the commander of the Tiger Whisker Pass and two other deputy commanders, Elliot, who Rocky taught a lesson yesterday, was also in the tent.

With a runny nose and tearful eyes, Elliot explained to the commander his "tragic" experience.
