The Medallion novel Chapter 1625

All the people present were surprised to see Ishaan's amiable attitude towards Rocky. Everyone in the Sky-suppressing City knew that Ishaan was the most trusted confidant of the young master of the Sky-suppressing Mansion. He was in charge of a lot of important matters for the Sky-suppressing Mansion, and definitely held a great deal of power. Therefore, there were very few people that Ishaan would humble himself for and speak kindly to. Judging by this, it was apparent that this Rocky was a special person.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Basil," Rocky replied with cupped hands. He didn't intend to hide his identity, because he knew that as soon as Ishaan heard his name, he would look at him differently. Only by gaining Ishaan's respect could Rocky get close to him.

Sure enough, Ishaan said slowly, "Basil? I seem to have heard this name somewhere before." He found the name very familiar, but he couldn't place it.

"I'm serving under Commander Tucker Wang." Rocky continued to introduce himself, knowing that it would jog Ishaan's memory.

"Wait, are you Spiritual King Basil? One of the representatives from the Sky-suppressing School who participated in the Spiritual Infant Contest?" Ishaan exclaimed in surprise. No wonder he had found the name familiar! Long ago, there had been a dark horse called "Basil" from the Sky-suppressing School, who had defeated Moore Duan, the young elite of the Sky-suppressing Mansion.

"Yes, I am." Rocky nodded noncommittally, as if it was no big deal.

All the people present were either rich or powerful members of the Sky-suppressing Mansion and the nearby towns, so they all had their own information networks and were somewhat familiar with Basil's achievements. So naturally, after hearing the man in front of them introduce himself as Basil, they immediately burst into an uproar. They had not expected this stranger to be Basil, the warrior who had gained a lot of attention in the border battlefield recently.

"So he is Spiritual King Basil," one of them gasped.

"I didn't expect him to be so young. I heard that he has made many extraordinary achievements in the border battlefield recently!" another commented.

"Exactly! I heard that he is very skilled in using mysterious military arrays, which made the army of the spiritual race suffer a lot."

"The most classical one is the battle of defending the Tiger Whisker Pass. The spiritual race lost tens of thousands of soldiers in that battle!"

All kinds of discussions ensued.

"I didn't expect you to be so famous!" Shirley leaned in and whispered.

Rocky shrugged with a small smile on his face. He was used to being the center of attention.

"Is this spiritual beast yours, Spiritual King Basil?" Ishaan finally noticed Kohen, the beast next to Rocky. His eyes immediately lit up, because he could see that Kohen was no ordinary beast.

"Yes," Rocky replied simply.

"I have seen countless beasts, but I have never seen anything like this before. Is it not a spiritual beast, but a diabolic beast?" Ishaan raised his head and looked at Kohen carefully. But even after taking in the smaller details, he couldn't tell where Kohen came from.

"No, it isn't a diabolic beast. It was cultivated by fusing the excellent genes of several powerful spiritual beasts. It is unique in the Supreme Ether Land," Rocky explained.

"Really?" Ishaan became excited at once, because if that was the case, then he definitely wanted to get his hands on this spiritual beast. He was willing to shell over a lot of money for it.

"Of course. I wouldn't dare to lie to you. What's more, its saliva has some miraculous effects," Rocky continued. He wanted Ishaan to take the bait.

"What effects?"

"Well, I can only tell you in private. Others will be jealous if they hear it," Rocky said with a small smirk.

Ishaan nodded knowingly and then waved his hand. "Spiritual King Basil, come with me to my place. Let's talk over a cup of tea."

His words caused an uproar among the crowd. Ishaan would only invite big shots with a lot of power and influence to his private place. Since he invited Basil to his place, it was obvious that he valued him very much.
