The Medallion novel Chapter 1673

"It's true. Leader, please avenge me," Armando said angrily.

"Do you know who did this?" Gilbert asked.

"I don't. But my son had a conflict with him in the slum," Armando answered.

"Slum?" Gilbert frowned upon remembering something.

"Do you know who he is?" Armando felt something was off once he saw the expression on Gilbert's face.

"I might know him," Gilbert nodded.

"Bring him here. I need to ask him in person why he bullied my son and forced him to take poison," Armando commanded fiercely.

"Are you sure it was him who made trouble for your son?" Gilbert asked. He knew what kind of person Armando's son was. He suspected that Rocky wasn't the one at fault.

"What do you mean? Do you think I'm talking nonsense?" Of course Armando would defend his son by not admitting that his son was forced to take the poison because he wanted to forcefully take away a woman from the slum.

"Well, I'll order someone to send for him so you can confront him face-to-face. But I must warn you that he's no ordinary person. If it turns out your son is at fault, I'll deal with it according to our laws," Gilbert replied bluntly.

"Who the hell is he?" Armando couldn't help but ask.

"Prefect Ba, you'll know when he's here," Gilbert said, deliberately keeping him in suspense.

He swiftly ordered his men to head to the Ghost Palace and retrieve Rocky.

After returning to the Ghost Palace a while ago, Rocky expected that he would be summoned soon. Once he saw Gilbert's men, he spoke before they had the chance to say something. "Go back and tell your leader that if Prefect Ba wants the antidote, he should ask me in person here at the palace."

Hearing that, the people sent by Gilbert were also in a dilemma. But obviously, Rocky did not intend to go with them, so they had to go back and report this to Gilbert.

When Armando heard what Rocky had to say, he flew into a rage. Apart from Gilbert, he was practically the most powerful man in the Ghost Fief, yet Rocky asked him to humbly beg for the antidote. His reputation would surely be tainted.

"Leader, who the hell is this man? He's so arrogant that he even has the nerve to turn down your invitation. Is he Esteban? No, that's not possible. My son told me he's merely a young man," Armando said.

"I can't force him. He's the Godly Genius." Gilbert finally revealed Rocky's identity after thinking for a while.

"What? The Godly Genius?" Armando was stunned. He never thought his son would mess with such an individual.

"Huh? The Godly Genius?" Brett was just as flabbergasted.

"I'm afraid you'll have to deal with it on your own, Prefect Ba." It seemed Gilbert didn't want to stand up for Armando this time.

"Bastard! Why did you provoke the Godly Genius?" Armando turned around and scolded his son.

But Armando knew that if he couldn't retrieve the antidote, his son would probably really die. So he swallowed his pride and rushed towards the Ghost Palace.

Once he arrived at the palace gate, he announced loudly, "The prefect of the Ghost Capital, Armando Ba, has arrived to meet the Godly Genius!"

"Prefect Ba, you're late. I thought you'd be more worried about your son's safety." Rocky walked out of the Ghost Palace slowly once he heard Armando's voice.

"Please forgive my son and give him the antidote, sir," Armando begged Rocky.
